We are having another beautiful day. Praise God.  Please pray for my friend's daughter. She has limes disease and is in the final stages of it.  She will have to have an infusion everyday for 3 weeks.  It will enhance her symptoms.  Please pray that God will intervene. She does not know God and apparently doesn't want to.  But we know God can change all of that.  Our God is Awesome.  The Lord be with you today.   I will always treasure your friendship.  Love,Shirley oxoxo

A happy weekend to you. Had great news yesterday from
my oncologist that the blood work & CT scan was good so don't have
to have another checkup for six months. The good lord still taking care
of the old man.

When the wife & I had our anniversary she wanted
to go to a place that prepared the food in front of you so I took her to
Subway . That's when the fight started.........

The wild yellow and pink roses are now in bloom around the yard, so warms my heart looking it the beauty of them each day while the roses last. Have a glorious Friday day. Smiles Gloria

June 20 is American Eagle Day, a celebration that commemorates the date in 1782 when the bird was added to the Great Seal of the United States, effectively becoming a national symbol. Franklin was reportedly not a fan. In a letter to his daughter, he wrote: ‘For my own part I wish the Bald Eagle had not been chosen the Representative of our Country. He is a Bird of bad moral Character. He does not get his Living honestly.’

With an olive branch in its right talons and a bundle of 13 arrows in its left (representing the 13 original states in the Union), the eagle is said to represent a strong desire for peace, but readiness for conflict. You’ll likely recognize the Great Seal of the United States from its appearance on passports, flags, official documents, and US currency.

Once common across North America, by the 1950s bald eagle populations had plummeted to an estimated 412 nesting pairs in the United States. Their decline was attributed to several factors, including use of the pesticide DDT, which caused thinning in their eggshells and interfered with reproduction. New regulations, including a ban on DDT, helped the species rebound. In 2007 the bald eagle was officially removed from the list of endangered and threatened species, marking the end of a long recovery. It continues to be protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this nasty disease again.  The treatments are so different now to what they were when I had my chemo and radiation.  Remember, cancer isn't a death sentence; also, it can't destroy who you really are on the inside.  Keep fighting!

Sue

Well, I will try again.  First message got lost somewhere!  Congrats Survivor!  We have something in common.  I was a survivor for 19 years and a year ago Dec. it raised its ugly head again.  I knew it would as I had it in quite a few lymph nodes.  So even though I have stage four metastatic breast cancer, I feel great!!!!  Dr. said it's just a matter of learning to live with.  So just take meds once a day, a shot once a month, and body scans every six months.  So far, so good.  Keep up the good fight!
Hugs, Nancy
