Comments Live I have been off the Hill for a while because I have after much prayer, and conversations with my children, have decided to down size. This has been a heart wrenching decision for me as with many folks my age. Our place( my late Bob) and myself built this retirement home on a beautiful lake in the mts. of Tn. and lived here for 31 years. My health has not been the best for a couple of years and our 4 acres and house has gotten too much for me to handle. It is so hard to get hired help one can depend on, so it is time for younger folks to take over the joy of living here. I will be writing a blog occasionally to record my progress. IT IS THE SAME HERE IN MICHIGAN, RAIN EVERY DAY. THAT IS VERY HARD ON THE FARMERS TO PLANT CROPS. I AM AFRAID THE CROPS WILL BE POOR THIS SUMMER. WILL JUST HAVE TO PRAY FOR THE FARMERS. I HOPE YOUR RAIN STOPS TOO. LOVE, SHIRLEY OXOXO

Good day to you . The warm weather has really arrived as it has everywhere. Hope the severe storms & flooding has left you safe . So far it has skipped us by. Going to pressure wash the driveway, walk & front porch today so will be able to enjoy the long weekend . Have some ribs,chicken & sausage to cook out tomorrow & watch some of the 500 mile race Mon. transplanted my pole bean sprouts from pots to soil today...bush beans are growing well. finally got some sun today after last night storms..yaay... lol
