Dropping in to say hello Nancy. You were on my mind today. Wishing you beautiful days ahead. Your friendship is gold. Hugs and Blessings -:) Lisa in N C
Happy Tuesday to you. We have been enjoying the winter weather and seeing snow outside our windows. Should probably all melt just in time for the possibility for another snowfall on Friday, they say. Ran some heaters over to my folks yesterday afternoon; they have power but their heat has gone out. Repairman can't come until tomorrow afternoon! Hope your week has started out well and continues to be great. Nancy, your page is so serene. Love it. Glad you are able to check messages even when you are too tired to respond. I haven't wanted to bombard your page with too many things because i was unsure as to whether or not you were checking. Just take care of yourself and know that rather you write or not, I love you dearly, saying prayers for you always, and sending you the most positive thoughts.
I thought most of us could appreciate this. We have been below freezing at night but are blessed not to have had any snow or snow that stayed.
Hubby is doing OK. He is at the 72 hour mark which means things should start to get better. Pills, cold therapy and keeping his foot elevated are helping lots. This is my last day to nurse him as I go back to work Tuesday through Friday. I will take him to the doctor on the 20th and then go to work.
Nancy, you are in my prayers and in God's hands.
I know the end of January until mid February is our worst winter weather, but I am still counting the days until Spring...
I don't even know what day it is. Let's see, tomorrow is Thursday so it must be Wednesday. On Friday, I am not working but hubby is having surgery on his toes. So I am not sure when I will be back. so...
today and to check and see what you have been up to lately. It has been a wild ride around here almost every day. It is a little too cold for my perfect weather right now.
But hey, some of you like it that way and enjoy getting out in snow to build a snowman or snow baby. I know we have another month of this but I am ready for Spring. I haven't even had time to look at my flowers so I am looking forward to staying home soon (sometime next month).
Probably won't be sunbathing but I can still dream of warmer weather. In fact, it makes my hair curl (and uncurl) just thinking about it...
I still have all the 2021 files to pull and 2022 files to get started. My precious Daughter-in-law sent me pictures today. Only 277 pictures from their trip to Mexico, Christmas, school functions, and I don't even know what else because I have yet to look at them all. But I will share something with you soon.
I have been running in circles lately and need three of me to keep up! My work is so much fun and in about another month, mid February, I should be back to part time.
Last weekend I did finally get new nails put on for the "Happy New Year to everyone!" just in case I forgot to tell you. We ate our black eyed peas so it should be a great year.
Yesterday was my day off. So after we both got a shower we were out the door. Rbt is having surgery next Friday, 14th, on his right toes to remove hardware from last surgery and straighten them AGAIN. So I dropped him off at his doctor's office to have pre-surgery blood work done while I went across the street to get a passport renewal picture taken.
Then we headed to the post office to get my renewal notice mailed. After that Rbt had to have a chest x-ray done before they closed at 4 pm. We hadn't eaten all day so we stopped at Cotton Patch for some comfort food. Best food and best Waiter we have had in a very long time.
So I am here trying to play catch up on each of you and your life the past couple of weeks. Thank you for all the messages and just for being such a faithful friend. I hope you will say a prayer for Rbt next Friday afternoon. It is only an hour long surgery and he will come home with a boot. But since I don't wear a mask, I will wait in the car for them to text me to pick him up. And we both will need prayers.
Nancy, you are always in my prayers. I hope to be back and check on you sometime this week. So until then...
May you have a very pleasant weekend. Such a pretty wintery morning. We are having a heat wave of 12 above and will be rising during the day to 18 or so. What a treat for it will head back down to 18 below again for night time temps.
Toasty warm in the home. Now I believe I will make up some White Chocolate flavored coffee to keep me even warmer. Yes that is a good plan. May you have a smilie weekend sharing your smile . Smiles Gloria
One thing I love about winter is the clean air; it smells freshened after every snowfall, and the winds bring in the pine aroma from the two evergreens beyond my deck.🌲Have a blissful Thursday.🤍
A happy new week my friend. Here we go another year and wishing you a blessed one. Going to the oncologist today to find out what treatment will be done for my cancer. Been fighting this stuff since 2008 just keeps hanging on with one kind or the other. Keep turning it over to God to take care of it for me. Enjoy the rest of the week and hope your staying warm in your area with all of the power outages going on. Take care....George
