Enjoy your new freezer!

hi

hot sunny and humid here at 88F and sunday will be worse at 95.
Took care of all the critters and birds and just rested inside in AC today.
All kinds of protests going on in DC today...people everywhere in all that
heat and humidity,,, so many going at once no one group getting much
attention.

Nothing I eat has tasted good to me lately except Judys turkey dinner.
Have had bbq ribs,  pork roast, cheeseburgers , meat loaf and wasnt satisfied with
anything.  Can't think of anything that I'm hungry for and is exasperating lol

yes our forecast next week is 90s too..uggh


75f here and sunny..got out and wired bottom of the shade cloth

to the fence as the wind was loosening the clips holding it on.  hope
the wire works,

Nabor Joyce came over and asked if the Orioles had left.  they havent
come to her jelly bowl on the patio.,,I looked at it and she hadnt drained the
rain water out of it and the birds wont eat the jelly if diluted. Have an 
extra butternut squash seedling i offered to her and she said she'd come
over this afternoon to get it.

Heard on news that there are some places in Calif with $10 gas now!  Cops were told
to try to handle as much as possible over the phone and not go physically to the
scene to save gas as fuel budget was almost used up!

my cats keep rabbits and squirrels out of my yard thankfully


Sunny day in 70s..

got out early and watered everything
Cut up more grapes and fed to the birds...Oriole pair
is still coming to the feeder for them as are the robins, 
cardinals and even woodpeckers.
Got stuff mulched yday with hardwood chips...the containers
dry out so fast!..
Picked some leaf lettuce and have it crisping  up..thought
would give to nabor Joyce for a small salad,,it is so young and tender
and about gone

Thawed ribs yday and have them baking in the oven..like the meat falling off
the bones and then add bbq sauce to them

Checked the shade cloth and it let morning sun on tomatoes, and sun straight 
up overhead now and it is shading them.. as the sun moves around in next few
months .... may have to adjust the cloth, but I'm glad I have it as the intense sun
is brutal.

Judy doing grocery shopping today and will bring over Sunday as Monday she keeps
grandkids while her daughter has surgery to remove an IUD that grew into her
uterine wall!

Need to get out sometime today and drive car a bit as has set there for over 2
weeks,,I try to run it a bit every week but yard has kept me busy and havent
done it.

Also need to get out and cut a vine that grows around my BR AC unit and if I
dont keep it trimmed, it will grow right INSIDE  the AC,, have tried to kill the
darn thing for years but it keeps coming back!!  What a nuisance!

yes pacing self is good!

Stormed all night and got a lot of rain so no

watering needed today.  Got out early and pruned tomato leaves to improve air flow..

2 butternut squash planted in a container and just set it in middle of main flower bed and vines can sprawl on ground..  have more to do but may ask nabor Joyce if she wants one.


Running AC as humidity is high here today after all the rain.  Went out in yard to give jelly to birds in my bedroom slippers and now they are soaked with the dew..uggh
