Sunny muggy 80s so have stayed inside except to feed critters..

may get out later and check water needs.  Oriole did come to feeder
a lot today eating grapes and jelly..such a colorful bird.

Judy bought one of her grandson's pups,, says is black and white
with blue eyes,,will bring me pic..

Have meatloaf thawed for dinner and will come up with something to go
with,,got some tender leaf lettuce off patio pot and gave few
sprigs to Paisley and she gobbled them right up so will give her some
each day.

Rain in forecast next 2 days... hope it doesnt beat down the blooming iris.

Got out this morning at 9 AM and watered all the plants,,moved the

still unplanted ones to patio shade..,they were looking wilted and droopy...
92F on back porch and very muggy.. Added a little mulch to some but
had to come inside to AC after only 45 minutes outside and was drenched
with sweat...took a rest then covered the tomatoes in 3 diff areas with
old sheet and old lacy curtains to give them a bit of shade from hot sun.
Finally back in about 2:30 pm and may be all i get done today as am pooped.

Another cool gray day here..

Haven't seen  the hummer or the Oriole again so they may have
moved on due to the cooler rainy days we've had most of the week.

 I miss the sun and the flowers I got are
still in their seed pots on the patio.  Brought in 4 big boy tomato plants
and eggplant and set on kitchen counter..mixed up some fertilizer and
gave them a shot of it. Thurs will be like today with more rain chances..
dont know when we will get sunny and warm!

Still have cabbage and cornbread and spaghetti to eat up so no more cooking till
I eat up all the leftovers!
