I was up at 3 AM with

queasy tummy and ate toast and oatmeal which helped. still feel queasy so
taking it easy today.  Going to make chicken salad later with last 3 drumsticks
and see if Paisley will eat some too.

51 and sunny here..woke to cold house this morning and discovered thermostat batteries
were dead so had to pry off cover and replace with new ones..house slowly heating up now.
Someone there might be some SNOW next week!

Made sausage gravy over toast with egg for breakfast and yummy..nuff left for Sunday
brekkie.  Fried drumsticks last night with GOOD oil lolol and garlic mashies and leftovers
of that for several meals.  Got Paisley's ears washed this AM.. they say a cream film can
build up so wash daily,, so after that she was skittish and took me awhile to catch her and get
the cream in ear.

Ha.. gal on tv says she grows Lambs Ear plants and uses for toilet paper,,good idea ., is 
velvetty!  I lost mine yeas ago and haven't replanted,

58f here and overcast

Tried putting ear cream on a q tip this morning but by the time I caught Paisley
it has dried off so has to redo using the applicator,  I had some leftover chicken
from a tv dinner last night and she ate that this morning.

Judy bringing in groceries this afternoon,,called to tell me both Aldis and walmart
had empty shelves and she couldnt get some of the stuff on my list..

Plumber found clog is sewer pipe under house yday.. all OK now for awhile at least
and $216.50 bill!

yes there are all kinds of videos on  you tube from preppers..interesting.




sunny and 69f here

was a rainy morning so slept till 8AM, then fed and watered cats and me!

Got the pork roast and kraut outta crockpot that cooked on low all night and 
just fell apart.. juicy and tender.  Gave the outside cats the fat and scrappy
 parts and they pigged out..Paisley even licked a bit of the juice.

Making out a grocery list for Monday for Judy which she'll get and deliver on
Wednesday.

Found a ranch chuckwagon cook on YT and he is a nut but has a lot of good recipes
on his site...Cowboy Kent Rollins..

Green bean pods still drying out on paper and covered with paper in spare BR.
Still need another week I think before I shell them and package up for next spring
planting.

Howdy

Had  a pretty sleepless night due to restless legs so slept in till 9AM..
is noon here and only 43f with rain forecast all WE.

Got the ear cream in Paisleys ear and she ate a little bit of the vet food,,
Got a nice hot shower and shampoo and thankful the tub did not back up,
plumber never showed Friday!  Called them and the girl said had been a "crazy day"
so not sure when he will come,,hopefully Monday..

Saw several videos on freezing eggs.. seems the best way is whisk 2 up at a time
and freeze in ziplock bags..then haw and scramble,,Judy was saying eggs might be
an item we may not be able to get soon so perhaps should have some frozen,

All news talking about the supply chain shortages extending throughout 2022
so have been trying to buy extra stuff i use regularly and store on bookcase in
spare BR. 

Trying to think of something diff to cook..am bored with my ideas so far..
