Last night I heard a noise outside and after getting the ambition to look out the window, some woman was working on the brush on the fence. Supposedly she is returning to work on my side. Ruining the spite fence.
Good morning. The day is starting at 61* heading for 82*. I woke up this morning and it felt pleasant in the house. Then I went to throw the water out and felt the night chill. I had a pleasant walk and upon arriving at the Fortress of Solitude upon completion, felt it stuffy and warm. It shows temperature is a state of mind. So, now I am aerating and the cool fresh air is rushing in. In my mind I am going back and forth on whether to go to the store for some British muffins. Not a necessity as I have Eggos and bread in the house for the morning beginning. I still have over an hour to decide as Walmart is not open until 6. The new Aldi store opens today. Good morning. It is the Ides of July. Beware! Starting out at 73* early on my walk. Heading to 85* later. The air is heavy. It brought perspiration at 3AM. I was fooled because when aerating the house, it seemed to be cool air coming in. However, it was like the eye of the beholder. Air in the house was warmer so it felt cool. Good morning. Rain storms all night. I could hear the lightning making ozone, actually I could hear the thunder, but it is good for it to happen. Cooler air. When the first storm hit yesterday about 5PM, it dropped the temp significantly. I believe now it is about 69* and I am aerating. I was reading that the fireworks have been rescheduled for tonight. I could have sworn I heard it last night. During the day today, I am expecting more severe rain. This is a minor marathon I recorded yesterday. I felt like jumping in but I had no credentials to be on the premises.
Good morning. Happy Friday. After a lot of rain yesterday and into the night, it stopped early enough to allow the fireworks to happen. I was doubtful being the flooding conditions across the river and then more rain happening. A quick perusal of the weather forecast for today indicates some rain again. We are fortunate to have so many places for the water to go so we don't have any real flooding in the city. I got out and rode around on my motorcycle yesterday and of course I have published pictures of the Riverfest and the mighty Mississippi River which seems to be exceeding its banks.
