Hello, friend, it is only a saying you have, a great friendship, many years, which sometimes, we think, is true, and they disappoint us, without expecting it, because we have been deceived, I give you my friendship, in exchange for nothing, that your beginning of the week is positive, with love, from your friend, take care of yourself, and enjoy
the orioles change from grape jelly to mealworms when they start feeding babies to give them protein, so I hate they dont like dried ones..the birds dont like wet peanuts so I just put out a few at a time on a platform feeder.. I have a tube feeder I tried last year for peanuts but was only for birds that could cling to the msh as had no perch..on the platform feeder the cardinals and blue jays etc will sit there and eat them so removed the peanut tube feeder.
I tried dried mealworms last year and birds ignored them so gave up on them as didnt want to fool with live ones which the birds prefer. I can identify birds by their appearANCE BUT NOT BY THEIR SONG LOL
I have Orioles here this year..so pretty.. the love grape jelly! Cardinals, woodpeckers, hummers , blue jays, nut haches , chickadees and doves visit feeders too, always something to see, I love sitting on patio in the vening and watching them,,Am trying some peanuts this year to see who eats them.
