First... Blessed Mother's Day to all ladies! Yesterday I had to go back to the store and get all my ingredients to make Chicken & Dumpling Biscuits recipe. My son wants me to bring everything to their house and teach the girls how I make it on Sunday! After 2-1/2 hours of shopping, up and down every aisle, and maybe coming home with a dozen more plants...
Then after mowing the yard, there was some planting going on at my house. Needless to say, Hubby and I were pretty sore by the time we quit at 4:30. Watched nationally ranked #6 Texas Longhorns beat Texas Christian University #3 in baseball 5-4. I was over at 11:30 pm. We play again today and tomorrow.
So now, I'm off to get lots done before and after the baseball game. So much to do... so little time! Don't forget to share your smile.
Hubby and I got lots done this morning. Now I am ready to get outside. We will probably mow the yard tomorrow if it is dry enough before the rain comes back Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
But just look at what it does for my flowers! Thanks to Gloria for making this for me (kisses)!
So I am sending you Blessings & Hugs! Also I am asking that you share your smile with everyone you meet.
Oh my goodness! We are blessed again! We were 92 yesterday and that adds so much fuel to the fire when a cool front comes through. There were a couple of tornados in our area, lots of straight wind damage around, and even more hail reportings all across Texas.
We had beautiful clouds before the storms and an awesome lightning show during the storms that went on for about 2 hours. I love lightning! I went outside and took videos and even took videos from my chair watching out the window where my orchids are thriving.
First attempt at video. Anyway, we ended up with 7/10" of rain as it slid east of us and was over by 11 pm instead of 1 am if the storm had completely come across us.
So now it is time to get busy! Enjoy your day and share your smile!
So before I get sidetracked... again... I am going to share my pictures with you.

You will have to copy and paste it but you should be able to see all the videos of the Hummingbirds too. Most of my pictures are taken "LIVE" which means they have seconds of action. Let me know if you enjoy seeing some of my pictures.
May you have a blessed week and also such a lovely Monday day. We were blessed to have a very nice rain shower overnight. The grass will grow more and I can't wait to smell that first hair cut the lawn will have soon. Smiles Gloria

We had a beautiful Friday evening! Wendy and I sat on the patio watching hummingbirds and cardinals and small birds galore. We listened to the guys talking inside and their laughter. Then they came back over Saturday and we met them for Mexican food and another visit full of smiles and laughter. We got some light rain on and off but Austin and Central Texas got very heavy rains.
This morning we had a bit of sunshine while East Texas was getting the heavy rain. But now we are cloudy and dreary again even though it doesn't show clouds in our area and there is still some blue peeking through.
I'm off to the patio for a bit to smell the flowers and then to watch some college baseball today from Austin since it got rained out yesterday.
The wind here was fierce yesterday and last night, but it's just breezy today and the sun is shining with temps in the 60s. Lovely!
Hugs, Maria
Hi there my friend. Its going to be a beautiful day here today. Its already in the 60's and the sun is shining and no wind. Sounds like a perfect day to me. I hope you are having a great Friday and will have a good weekend. Take care my friend. Cheryl
Friday is almost over and so is May! We had another 7/10" of rain today. So are you ready for the Pilgrims???
You know.. Mayflower? I have company coming in an hour so guess I had better get the house picked up a little.
Don't forget to share your smile, even in the rain! There are so many hail damage claims that have been filed already. And some are still repairing their house from the freeze and broken pipes.
