We have sunshine this beautiful Monday morning and I hope you do too.
I pray that everything is right in your world this first full week of April.
I ran across a picture of our house before we moved to DFW well over 20 years ago and after sharing it with my precious, dearest friend, who was our next door neighbor, she sent the picture of us back to me.
Would you just look at me now and what I have turned into. What a difference a quarter of a decade makes!
And I fear there are more changes yet to come. Do you like my new look?
Please don't forget to share your smile with others every day! Blessings & Hugs! Pam
Many of us are having rain, wind, thunder & lightning, some even snow! Take care; be safe. Maybe seasonal weather coming. Hope that snow misses you, Cheryl, as you mentioned. *hugs*
Hello Cheryl, thank you! It's looking very 'Spring timey here too. The girls helped me put the window clings on yesterday and we made homemade won tons for lunch. Have a good weekend!
Mother Nature is very confused on this first Thursday of April.
We had such HIGH winds that all the dandelion seeds have been scattered all over our yard and throughout the neighborhood.
As you can see, Carly is guarding all the dandelions in our yard.
Then the clouds come and go in all colors and shapes. Just looking down on us and laughing. We are going to be in the mid 30's on Monday Morning.
But about the time we all settle down in our chairs, three, yes 3 of the loudest cracks of thunder rock our world and we get a 10 minute shower. Then it is over and the gray sky is bright again.
Then sure enough, the Cardinals are back out drying their wings, eating seed, and listening to the mockingbirds sing the most beautiful songs.
I don't know which I like best... the graphic you posted, your pretty red tulips or that precious Charlie who has grown up since you were there visiting. Thanks Cheryl for sharing!
Last day of the month and we are saying Goodbye to the windy month of March. Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new month of rainy April showers!
Before you know it, Summer will be here and we will be cutting lots of flowers to share with others.
If you miss a day of walking the yard and looking around, the flower from yesterday will be wilted and a new one will have opened.
Or a new baby Cardinal will have been born and might be testing its wings out while looking for food.
There is always something breathtaking that God will put right in front of you if you just take the time to look.
Yes! He loves us and wants the very best for us. So if something happens, like a pacemaker, look for the good, like all the wonderful people you got to meet and share the love of Christ with during the journey.
