Monday!  A new day!  A new week!  

Would you like to sit with me awhile and watch the sun come up?  

Or would you like to take a walk down by the water?  

At the end of the day we can watch the moon come up.  

We might just be lucky enough to see God's handiwork across the Texas Sky.

This Caturday is cooler than it has been.  What a wonderful blessing it is!

It is a wonderful day to get close to those you love.  Snuggle together!  

Why is it that cats never come when you call them?  If it is feeding time, they just stroll in like... what do you want?

Thursday... sit quietly... I am thankful that I can still work part time.  You know, just to fill in when I am needed.  

Ok, I am filling my insulated mug at home to take with me, but if I am not there 15 minutes early, I am late.  

But I'm on my way now.  Sometimes I think it would be faster to ride a bike than to fight traffic for 8 miles!  

However neither form of transportation is very good if there is rain and especially when it is dark.  

So sunshine or rain, walk, ride, or drive, just put a smile on your face and sing a happy song and dance the day away.  Besides, I love being at work.  

I am looking forward to cooler temperatures after the storms have gone through tonight.  We have lots of butterflies too.  

Middle of the week, already?  

I am working Thursday and Friday so if you don't hear from me I will be here when I get something together.  

I am always glad for another day and most of the time just to see what comes my way.  

Some days it is cheeseburgers & fries, some days it is ribeyes & baked sweet potato, some days it is salad.  Ok, probably not the last one!  

After all, coffee starts the day off to make it right.  Food just follows it later!  

It is our Tacos and errands day!  

Monday morning was still cloudy and drizzly but you never know what today will be like.  

However, if the sun doesn't shine, be around someone who makes the world around you feel like sunshine.  

Or maybe you are the person for someone in your life where the sun rises and sets.  

Now go out and let your light shine or look for someone else's light that is shining today.

Happy Monday!  Good grief, already a week into May!  However, we have 3 more Mondays to go.  

Duplicated myself to be able to drink my two cups of coffee this morning.  Now that the caffeine has kicked in, I am trying to prioritize my "to do" list.  

We have family coming over, the Parletts, so I had better get things straightened up around here and then get me cleaned up too!  

I was going with the casual 60's look, which is my normal relaxed everyday look today.  

However, Rbt wanted to wear a bow tie for us to go to lunch and celebrate Mother's Day early.  After all, the Kentucky Derby was yesterday and his nephew and wife were there on the third row near the finish line again this year.  

So now I have to dig out the hat and jewelry and my fancy purse!  Hope your day is as fun as ours will be after we get our chores completed.

Every day new things are popping up out of the ground and blooming!  We had rain 1-1/2" from 11 pm to 6 am. 

Pretty soon this bed will be full of pink Coneflowers!  

I am going to confess something.  I do not know what this word means.  

I am going back to the patio now to see if I can figure it out.

Friday has arrived!  What are your plans, after coffee of course?  

The flowers are blooming (posted pics on my page)!  Every evening/night we get rain and most days we have clouds with some sunshine.  

Yesterday morning we had 6/10" overnight and we had a nice cool breeze with lots of clouds, so the hummingbirds were everywhere getting nectar.  

I even saw the squirrel running across the backyard, away from the bird feeder that has hot seeds squirrels are not supposed to like, on his way toward the fence.  

Do you think if I had a cute little pig that it would eat my grass and chase away the squirrels?  I know, it would just eat all my flowers, but isn't she cute?!

Thursday is here!  Yes we are expecting more storms and rain through the weekend again.  

Now this has been going on for quite a while!  I'm sure you wouldn't know anything about this!  

So you might see me and a couple of my friends going down the street celebrating the only way we know how in the rain.  

And if you look closer, you will see another, right there beside us!  He is guiding our way!  

After the rain, the sun will shine again.  It may be Tuesday before that happens.  Usually the sky is just beautiful after the rain.  

Sometimes we are even lucky enough to see His promise to us.  

Good Wednesday Morning!  It is the middle of the week!  

It is also a brand new month in 2024! 

We are due more rain on and off the rest of this week and the flowers are loving every second of it.  

Even the giraffes are all smiling!  I miss the sunshine but clouds do keep the temperatures a bit lower.  

Now I hear coffee calling to me.  I will be back to check on you soon!  Have a very ...

This Tuesday we say "Goodbye" to April and "Hello" to May!  

Even though the month is changing, the season is not yet.  

However, as the temperatures begin to rise so does the humidity.  

So after a haircut, it was time to color the hair to try to help give it "somebody to love".  

The weather is different depending on where in the world you live!

Where has this month gone?  Oh my goodness!  Praying for protection from the storms all over the US.  

It seems that our April showers have brought us not only showers but storms to end the month.  

I always say be careful what you wish for and damaging storms are what we don't want for any of us!  

After the storms come more flowers that will bloom and that puts a smile on my face.  

So here is to the storms leaving us all alone and like magic watching the flowers bloom.
