Hi there. Its been a hot day here today. Got up to 100F. To hot for me and hardly any breeze. I've been kind of lazy today. But did get the laundry and dishes done. Tried to take a nap but it never happened Ready for the weekend but they always go by so fast. Have a good weekend and take care my friend.
It's Monday already and I hope we both have a great one, Cheryl. The day is going to be hot and sunny here. We have had so many days into the 90s that whenever we have an 80* day, we'll probably be chilly. HAHA. Got a couple things to get done and then the rest of the day is mine.

We've made it to Friday! And it's been a busy, accomplished day for me. One more load of wash to dry and fold and I'm done for the day. How has your day been? Any weekend plans? None here. Just waiting on cooler temps (it'll be a while) so we can work outside again. Cheryl, your page is so pretty. Green is my favorite color. I love all shades of it. I wish we'd get rain. Afternoon showers are so hit and miss around here.

Hi, Cheryl: We are waiting for the latest tropical storm to come our way - expected to get here by tomorrow a.m. We're expected to get a lot of rain and fairly strong wind but nothing disastrous (Thank the dear Lord!). Other than that, things are as usual.

I believe this goat is doing a happy Friday dance. I'd like to suggest we join in except, for many of us in the summer soup, doing our dance in the house with the a/c on full blast. Going up to 95* they tell us and dew points have been in the mid 70s. So, yes, we are definitely "in the soup". Thankfully it is a gorgeous day but for the heat. Beautiful sunshine and even a slight breeze. I filled my bird feeders and bird bath and will enjoy watching through the window as they drink, bathe, and dine. Have a fabulous day! Hope you have had a good day so far. its been a cloudy day and just got a pop up shower. Hopefully it will dry out so i can get my mowing done tomorrow, if not there is always Saturday. Got out this morning and did a pick up at walmart for my groceries. miss going in the store but with high number of cases in town i have been avoiding it for now. last few days the cases have dropped thank goodness. That will be an adjustment with an empty nest. Hopefully your son isnt moving away to far and you can still see him often. Do your daughters live close? My oldest daughter lives 4 miles from me, she has 2 little boys and my youngest daughter now lives in VA. she has a boy and a girl. Her husband is a major in the army so they move around every few years. The just moved from CA this month. Hopefully once its safer to travel i can drive up to see her. I flew a couple times to CA to see her but that was a long day of flying and layovers. I live next to my dad and help him out with keeping up with his place so life is busy! Do you do any crafts? I have been crocheting an afghan and its pretty detailed so its taking awhile but i sure do enjoy it. Hope you have a great afternoon. Hugs,Rhonda

Hi there. Nice to be back on the hill. Didn't realize how much I missed it until I was getting tired of all the drama on Facebook but I don't want to leave there cause I have family on there. Not alot going on here. Its another hot and humid day here with a chance of rain. I've been busy packing up my son's clothes and stuff since on Friday we will be moving him to his new apartment. He is looking forward to finally being out on his own. It will be different with all the kids finally gone. How are you doing? Well take care and I look forward to hearing back from you again.
We have made it to Wednesday and may start our coast to the weekend. I've been doing household stuff all morning and hope to spend part of my afternoon crocheting and relaxing. How is your day going and are you doing all you can to keep cool? Whew, it's miserable. The air is so heavy. I know you know exactly what I mean, Cheryl. Hey, you don't need to apologize for not being in touch. I know that sometimes we have to hit the reset button on our lives. Decompressing is necessary. I totally get it. Especially now with this covid mess and all the unrest nationally. Life stinks at times. Just glad you're back now. That's what matters.

I hope you're having a terrific Tuesday and that you accomplish all you set out to do today. So far, so good on my end. Cheryl, I need to play catch up with you; when did Sam get married? And she has a little one now? How are Kristen's kids doing? Where is Sam living? Sorry for all the q's. Yes, hanging clothes on the line is awesome but it's useless in this humidity. We have had like 19 days of 90s with feels-like temps in the low 100s. I'm not amused or impressed. Did you know my youngest, Jenny, had a baby boy? He turned 2 June 9th. So she has a 14 year old, a 16 year old and a toddler. God bless her. HAHAHAHA
