Friday is here and that means the weekend is upon us!  What are you going to do? 

It was a beautiful cloudy, stormy, Spring day yesterday and we got over an inch of rain which we needed.  

We ran errands and it was drizzling but the rains came just before dark after we were home.  

I hope that after the last storms go through that the sky will be full of rainbows.  

Now see if you can figure out this clock.  Go through the numbers and the alphabet.  Yep, they got it right.  

Now when the hummingbirds come back, I want to go hunting for tiny nests.  I hope you have a fun day and weekend.

A fast moving storm came through before midnight last night and the second set is now north of us.  

But more rain storms are on the way.  It does keep you weather aware and on your toes.  

We could use the rain but without the damaging winds and certainly without any hail.  However, Spring and Winter are fighting it out.  

Today is our 44 Anniversary and I am so very thankful for each and every day we are together.  I think we will go stomping rain puddles together today.  

Don't forget to change your clocks on Saturday night or you will be late for church on Sunday.  Spring forward is the best time of all because we have more daylight in the evenings.  I love it.

Now I can't even draw a stick figure and tell what it is, let alone really paint.

March is in full swing as we start the day at 64° but like yesterday we have clouds and a steady breeze.  It should be another really nice day!  

I watered plants yesterday as the strawberries were dry and our neighbor, Livvy, wanted more strawberries from Grandma.  So before sunset, I harvested them and took them to her.  No more blooms so the next crop will be a while.  

These are our 6 biggest potted plants.  During the winter, we move them in and out of the garage depending on temperature lows.  They will be moved to the backyard after Easter when a freeze is very unlikely.  Four of them got new pots on Saturday.  

So  as we in Texas say goodbye to winter and hello to spring, it is time to be sure the birds have water and food and the plants inside and out are watered a couple of times a week.  

Now can you guess where I am going today?  Yes, outside to enjoy every minute of every day of our beautiful Texas weather.  Blessings & Hugs!

What a wonderful time of year!  We hit 80° yesterday and we got 4 very big plants repotted into very big pots.  

It is so beautiful to sit outside in the sun and let Vitamin D soak into the body.  I can't wait for next Sunday when we Spring Forward and have an extra hour in the evenings of daylight.  

We should have at least 4 more days in a row between 50° and 80° before we get another chance of some rain.  We always need rain!  

Early mornings, right as day breaks, the birds are singing loudly praising God.  I love watching the sun peak over the horizon.  

Let's enjoy every day of this new week in March.  Thank you for being my friend.

Friday is here and so is March!  I hope to get outside today and put out new food for the birds.  

That's right, I am putting out the hummingbird feeders with fresh food.  

Our rain was too cold yesterday to see any yet.  But I have hopes that it won't be too long.  

As the flowers start blooming, they will find their way to our feeders.  I usually keep three feeders up most of the year.

It is so exciting to see them protect their territory and my heart starts pumping the minute I hear them.  

I know it is still early but I know that time is flying by because the month of February is gone and March is coming in like a lamb in our area.

We are heading toward the weekend and warmer temperatures again.  The yard work on Tuesday was very hard on both of our bodies.  Hubby was under the riding mower several times as the mower deck belt broke.  

Spring is on the way.  This weekend I hope to plant some new pots and to transplant a lot of things.  I am ready for flowers to bloom in beautiful colors!  

Don't you just love watching flowers grow and bloom.  Like watching your children and grandchildren grow up and blossom too.  

I hope you enjoy the growth of my flower from a bulb to a beautiful triple bloom.  I am sending you lots of Blessings & Hugs  this Thursday!  

I will chance one eye to peek out today on this blustery day with the north wind keeping our temperatures in the 50's.  After two days in the 80's, today is quite a change in weather.  

Before you know it, we will be back to warmer weather with flowers blooming.  That is, if I can get out there and repot plants and put some seeds into some pots.  

Today we will stay inside and play games or probably just watch TV and make some Chicken and Dumplings.  One very large pot will be ready this afternoon.  

Now I might go take a nap until it warms up a little bit.  After all...

Good morning to you Cheryl It's been a busy morning for us after we had our morning coffee we unloaded the dishwasher and put the dishes away then we reloaded the dishwasher and ran it and while the dishwasher was running we made Homemade bread crumbs and after we made the bread crumbs I took my shower then I came upstairs and went on my computer to get caught up with my messages here and after I answer my comments I'll go downstairs and watch TV while I play games on my phone while my Hubby goes on his computer and after he's finished on the computer he'll come downstairs and join me in the living room and we'll watch TV and play games on our phones until we're ready to get supper and after we eat my Hubby will take his shower and after he dries off we'll go upstairs and go in to the bedroom and watch TV while we play games on our phones until we're ready to go to bed.Hope UR feeling better Take care Cheryl Hugs,Ceil
