Hello Cheryl, here's pics
from the place we visited yesterday. Some natural Springs about 35 miles
from where I live. There are underwater caves here too and the water is
very cold. It was refreshing to say the least! There were cave divers
there preparing to explore. So neat to learn about.  Happy weekend.

Look around you to see the sites and sounds.  

One of my favorite sounds is the loud calls of the Blue Jays.  I always know when they are around.  

I used to grow Bird of Paradise flowers when we lived in South Texas.  Have you ever seen them growing?  

What makes you notice a butterfly?  Is it the movement, the sound, or the color?  

Just open your eyes and you will see His presence all around you.  Blessings will be upon you too.

Glad you're doing good..counting down the days till Fall. We had a heat index today of 100. Next week's weather looks so much better...mid week we should see 70's. Enjoy the weekend ahead -:)

Happy Thursday. The sun is so hot today, you can make tea in a quick minute. Have you ever made suntea? I have many times. Today is a great day to keep the tea pitcher filled and ice in your glass. Whatever your drink of choice is and whatever your weather, have a wonderful day. Cheryl, my doctor started me on Glipizide, too! I started about 2 weeks ago. Hope it works.

It is a warm, muggy, wonderful Wednesday for me. I feel good about all I've gotten done and also feel sure I'll sit down to relax and remember something I DIDN'T do. I hate when that happens. ;-) A scorcher today and the next few so I'll be indoors loving and appreciating my air conditioner. How about you? What are you up to today? Be sure to do something fun for yourself.

today's my daughter's birthday, we're going out to have lunch and get pedicures, IF her husband is doing well enough to be alone for a couple of hours...(he had emergency surgery for a perforated appendix on Monday), if not, we'll go on Friday...

You know it is the last Taco Tuesday of August.  

As it begins to cool off, maybe a bicycle ride would be fun.  

I don't think I could get past the end of the driveway, so I will wait for you to come back.  

A horse ride in the early mornings would be a fun way to say goodbye to August too.  

Have you ever ridden a horse as it was crossing a river?  I haven't but it looks like it would be fun.  

However, if I am not on the bench when you get back, I'll be off walking with Jesus.  You are always welcome to join us.

Good Monday Morning!  Did you survive the weekend?  

I love the smell of the coffee grounds when I make coffee and the smell of a freshly brewed pot.  

Now I had better get busy or you might not hear from me tomorrow.  Lots to do today!  

If you go out today, look around you.  You might spot someone who is hurting.  Give them your heart.  

Please don't forget to tell others you love them and that you carry them in your heart.  

After a successful and busy day, I pray God will give you a peaceful night of sleep.
