Wednesday is the middle of the week and the best day to share your heart with others.  

Love is what life is all about, the greatest of all is Love.  Put a smile on someone's face today by sharing your smile with them or doing something good for them. 

After all, it is the little, fun things that make life so wonderful for them and for you too.  

Besides, when you make others happy, it makes you forget your problems too!  

Never miss an opportunity to share your heart overflowing with love with others.

It is a Tuesday and some people in Central & South Texas are waking up to snow today.  

Some of my friends are excited that they might get to build a snowman today.  

Maybe others will just stay inside and play with the toys they got for Christmas.  

I don't think anyone will actually be able to ice skate today in Texas unless they go to a rink that is man made.  

But families will have fun today just being together in the rare Texas snow.  

Some will just try to stay warm today and build a fire in the fireplace.  

I am just thankful that they are getting snow and North Texas is not this time around.  Sharing Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

We dropped all the way to 13° this morning but we are near 30° now.  I am making Chicken & Dumplings for us to enjoy the rest of this cold week.  We are not supposed to have any snow.  This morning they said it was too cold and too dry.  Yippee!  Stay warm! 

Good Monday Morning!  It is cold in North Texas, 18°!   Tomorrow morning it will even be cold in South Texas.  

At least we do not have any moisture in the air or precipitation therefore we do not have any snow in the DFW area.  

Our friends in Lubbock had a surprise Sunday with a light dusting of snow.  In Waco, Houston, and San Antonio areas, they should get snow.  Even the Corpus Christi area, where I grew up, has a chance of snow flurries which is rare.  

I am just hoping that there is no ice on the trees anywhere in Texas.  If the trees are icy and the tree limbs get heavy and break then the electricity usually goes out.  

After all, we just want to be able to build a snowman and get out of school or work.  

Hey, maybe the snowman could check the mailbox and bring the mail inside to me.

We are staying home as much as possible this next week with the very cold temperatures too.  

Wintery windy day  and sub  zero temps for the next several days. 

I plan to stay toasty warm indoors putting a fun  winter puzzle together as I do my daily duties off and on.  

Every so pretty outside with  snow on the ground and the birds are coming  to the feeder off and on during the day. 

May your winter days bring  joy to your heart and if you have time  throw a snowball my way or if your snow is angel snow instead have fun making one in your yard for all to see.

What a beautiful day we had yesterday at 60°!  Happy Friday because even though we may not have as much sunshine, it should be 60° again.  

Plants in the garage all got watered.  It was so nice not to have the heater on in there as the door opens to the north wind.  

Then we had to move the bricks along the bottom of the plastic to get to the temperature device to change the battery.  All 4 devices got the batteries replaced.  

You want to do it on a warm sunny day with sunshine beating down, not when it is below freezing and you don't know the temperature under there or when to turn the heater on.  It was SO humid and hot when I lifted the plastic up.  PERFECT for our plants!  

We were being proactive since we know the arctic air is on the way (shiver as I type that).  

For us life is good when it is warm and the sun is shining brightly and when all our plants are HAPPY!  :)

I know, it isn't Caturday.  But isn't that a sweet kitty this Thursday!  

I hope I put a smile on your face today.  It is supposed to be our pick of the week's best day.  

I don't know if we will get more snow, but bitter cold temperatures are coming back for about a week.  

So we will have to get our running and exercise done this week.  Next week Mom won't want to leave the house again.  

Yes Grandma knitted these for us and we will be very thankful when that arctic blast arrives.  We are sending her this picture!  

I see she got scarves for you for Christmas too.  Now enjoy the sunshine and warmth today if it isn't too late.

Good Wednesday Morning to you!  Today I will give you some things to think about.  

Do you talk to yourself in the mirror, maybe with words of encouragement?

Remember you are in control of your attitude and life!  

Yesterday is gone, no need to worry about it.  You must concentrate on today!  

So go forward with an open mind as to what today will look like.    

Always show love and be real.  

Good Tuesday Morning!  How about a ride on the beach with me today?  

Of course it has to be someplace warmer than most of the beautiful graphics going around right now.  

So for me, it is a good morning to sit and read all day long, like my online daughter, Jo, shared with me.  

I can always just look outside to see the birds that love every season, even a snowy winter.  

Or look over at the beautiful Amaryllis that loves to bloom inside during the cold winter days that are outside.  

And I am blessed to be able to send Hubby to the mailbox to retrieve the packages and mail as I wait for his speedy return, fixing some nice Hot Chocolate and ...  

I am so glad you had such a great day running around Cheryl.  It warms my heart as I sit here at 49° outside reusing to go out.  hehehe

I changed the pictures on my page to share my family from December.  Then I thought I would share with you a screenshot of the video of my girls being pulled behind the SUV with the back open.   My son, at age 56 last month, will forever be 12 years old.  The girls tell him that he is not old enough to drive.  They have done this for many years.  They live on a dead end street now.  They have been learning to drive since they had a small Barbie Car.  Then as they got older, they would sit in his lap and drive.  When they could reach the pedals, in winter he would take them to empty business parking lots when it snows and teach them how to drive in it.  They are 16 (next month) and 17 years old now.  Their Dad has made sure they have had fun their entire life.  Quote, "Homework will be there later, come outside now!"  

I wonder what blessings this week will bring us.  

It was a beautiful day yesterday with sunshine and mid 50's.  The birds had so much fun eating seeds!  

The bright red color of the cardinals getting on and off the feeder always catches your eyes.  

As well as all the little bitty birds going from the feeder to the ground so as not to miss a bite.  

Birds singing and feasting in winter is just another reminder that it is 2025!  Have you dated anything yet to remind you of the new year?  

Caturday is here again on this cold January of 2025.  Do you have weekend plans?  

If not, come on over and we will sit by the fire for a while.  Do you like coffee or tea or maybe some hot chocolate?  

I can tell by the chocolate on your face already which one you prefer!  

Well, would you look at that, someone has already been in the coffee bean this morning.  

What are you guys doing in the pantry?  Don't eat it all because I need my coffee every day.  

Oh what the heck, let's just go back to bed for a while and take a short nap to start this weekend off right.  

Have you been out playing in the snow, again?  

Or maybe you are on vacation somewhere or lucky enough to live somewhere where it is warm right now.  

You might be on the beach chasing a frisbee.  Come on, throw it again!  

No matter what your weather is like, go out and have some fun to start the weekend off right.  

But if you are in the snow, be on the lookout for someone throwing a snowball your way.  Not me of course.  I am just sending...

Thursday is a day to be thankful.  Snow, fires and so much more going on all over the world.  

Sometimes when we say thank you, we have to understand that even though everything isn't perfect, it is right for us right now.  

Then you look around and find confirmation all around you.  

Say thanks, be grateful, stop and smell the flowers, put a smile on your face, and speak to others today.  

Your day will be better and you will make their day better too.  You never know what someone else is going through.  

Wednesday is the middle of the week and here we are.  

Teachers and children are all back in school after the Christmas / New Years break this week.  

Would you believe that both are already excited about a day off from school?  They are looking for a snow day.  

It might be hard to hit a giraffe in the face with a snowball.  

But a giraffe photobomb, that picture is easy to catch.

Good Morning!  This weather has been wonderful for reading.  I love a really good book with a really happy ending.  

We all know that along the way in life, there are ups and downs, and sharp turns that take us in a different direction.  But where would we be now if we hadn't followed that new direction?  

As you read you realize that in life, all of us have a story to tell.  Have you thought about your story lately?  

Have you shared your story with family and friends?  Have your children and grandchildren learned a good life lesson from your story?  

We are all very different, unique, and our stories are all different.  Share the good and the bad because that is how we learn and get to where we are now.  

How is your story coming along?  One day, we will make it all the way through the book to The End.  

The first full week of 2025.  Lord, we ask that you start us off in the right direction for the entire year.  

One of the best feelings is the Holy Spirit in your heart and someone talking to you as you go through the day.  

Let us shine our light for the whole world to see what a difference we can make every day.  

Change the world one small step at a time and never miss a chance to make a difference.  

Put on your cuteness as you start each day and see, actually look around you, who you can help even with just a smile.
