Good Morning. Very overcast and a cold dreary day here. Rain was predicted but nothing so far. Not good as the folk on the land would appreciate good heavy falls. Our winter rainfall is way down to what it should be. I’ve been catching up on some projects this past week and have about caught up for now so I’ve time to relax. My daughter called in earlier and we had a nice chat. She is going to the city on the weekend and while there is including some shopping for me. Enjoy your day Hugs Pat
Marvelous midweek to you! A gray day for me and threatening rain. Tomorrow is to be a washout, says the weatherman. I did my outdoor chores and am now doing laundry. Do you eat mushrooms? I, personally, love them. I love grilled portobella "burgers", mushrooms on my pizza, in pasta salad, soup.....I think you either love them or you gag just thinking about them. HEHE Whatever your 'shroom preference, please have a great afternoon and evening.
Got thru almost 24 hrs of rainfall in Wonderland. Today temps are in the 60s F (16sC). Feels so refreshing but strange for early August. Hope your mid-week is going well. 🌺

Sometimes you have to look real hard to see what is right in your hand.
It is easy to spot what is obvious. God wants you to see everything that he made as beautiful and to love everything and everyone.
By this time next month, we will be seeing signs of fall all around us. The colors will change but the beauty will still surround us.
I have been sitting on the patio for almost 2 hours. I have seen Doves, Cardinals, Mockingbirds, Starlings and all kinds of small birds. I have had bees, butterflies, wasps, and more on the flowers right next to me. I have seen hummingbirds at the orange Lantana, pink Hoya, and red Turks Cap. They come to the feeder and then within 2' of my face looking at me. A slight breeze just started after feeling the warm sun on my face. Come join me please.
My hubby just got a box of 200 family photos dated 1880s up to the 50s. About half he doesn't know who they are even with identification on the back. And he has no one to leave them to. We'll cherish them while we are alive. 🐚

Hello Cheryl, We are expecting conditions to be worse late tomorrow and Monday as TS Debby approaches. It was looking like Tampa yesterday would be the point of entry and now it's taken a slight turn to the west which will be closer to us. Have a good weekend and stay cool!
How are you on this sizzling summer day? Keeping cool, I hope. We went to the bank and to the grocery store earlier. Needed more vanilla ice cream. That's a refreshing treat for us in the evening. And to counter the "bad" with some good, we also bought bananas. Balance. It's all about balance. HEHE
