Sending an early Birthday Wish, Cheryl, as I don't think I'll be back online between now and the 10th. Hope your day is special... like you! *hugs* -di
Good Morning! This weather has been wonderful for reading. I love a really good book with a really happy ending.
We all know that along the way in life, there are ups and downs, and sharp turns that take us in a different direction. But where would we be now if we hadn't followed that new direction?
As you read you realize that in life, all of us have a story to tell. Have you thought about your story lately?
Have you shared your story with family and friends? Have your children and grandchildren learned a good life lesson from your story?
We are all very different, unique, and our stories are all different. Share the good and the bad because that is how we learn and get to where we are now.
How is your story coming along? One day, we will make it all the way through the book to The End.
Hello Cheryl, no snow here, only rain so far. Supposed to get quite cold after the rain. 20s at night and that's cold for us here in FL! Have a good new week.
In this new year, it is a new day. I am positive that the sinus infections we have both had are much better.
Don't you hate when you just can't get warm and your hubby fixes this nasty tasting stuff for you to drink?
Just drink it he says... and I did. But then he was sick for days before I caught it from him.
It doesn't matter that I have given him almost as many pills as I have taken and I got better much faster than he did. Cayenne, lemon and everything else in the house has been taken.
Yesterday, we even ate a hamburger. First real meal in days. When I crave a hamburger, which I do almost every day, you know things are looking up.
So today, Caturday, the first one of 2025, we have hope and positivity that we will survive whatever this year throws at us. I think a very cold winter blast will be next.
Hello Cheryl, made my first batch of sourdough bread today. It's rising now. No idea if I did it right. lol. This last day of the year finds us in shorts and tees with temps nearing 80. It will be cold as ice next thing you know. Crazy bipolar weather we have here. Wishing you a happy New Year!
Hello Cheryl, sharing this little sunny fellow with my Hill friends since he is likely the only sun many of us will see this weekend. We have thick fog and clouds here and storms otw for tomorrow. Happy last weekend of 2 0 2 4!
