Good morning. It is Friday the 13th. Remain sequestered. I know the bad luck day for the Italians is the 15th of every month, regardless of the day but this is the bad luck day for the civilized world. I am starting out at -2 with a high of 18*F. Tomorrow I am expecting snow and sleet. This can't last because it will be winter soon. Tomorrow I shall activate the car from being sequestered in the garage. I received my first Christmas car the other day. This year I think I shall re-card my Christmas cards, like some people re-gift. Later today I am hoping to get out of the fortress and move around somewhat. Be careful out there today. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Greetings. It is -3* heading to 9* later. The weather people say it feels like -16. It is too early for this. I have the hot water dripping in the shower to prevent freezing. Magic number for that is zero. I have cancelled my exercise. I have been feeling a cold come on. I had a sore throat for about an hour yesterday. This year when getting near zero, I shall not be doing the walk for exercise, maybe a constitutional around the neighborhood for gossip. I have even hidden the car in the garage. First time since last winter. I hope this is not going to be like a couple of years ago where the toilet drain froze. And the few times over the years when the water froze coming in from the street. Humbug! I may venture out to the street to see if I got any mail yesterday and to toss out the water. I never get any worthwhile mail anyway. A mid-week HELLO! The holiday season is not hurried for me anymore. I like that I can relax & enjoy the sights & sounds. Even have my shopping done, which is only for my hubby & my son. Since they both have December birthdays (son the 10th & hubby 24th), I have to double my efforts! 🎁
Good morning. It is 27* heading to 29* later. Considering the next couple of days, this is good. I am pondering walking over to church but it does not look promising right now. I have about an hour and a half to contemplate. A constitutional around the neighborhood later, maybe, but that would be it for the rest of the day. Tuesday is usually my favorite day, however, we will only be close to 50° with a 30 mph wind today.
So today may be a day with lots of thankful rejoicing at home.
Thankful that my best friend is my hubby. We help each other in almost everything we do together even though his way is usually right I try to tell him it is wrong.
Thank goodness there is Mistletoe this time of year.
I am also thankful for my work family that treated me to a most fun Birthday lunch.

Good morning. Warm this morning, 38*. High 40s later. Then the cold comes, including one day when it is going to hit zero. I will have to let the hot water in the shower drip. I am thinking of going to the Cathedral this morning for church. Being yesterday was a holy day, it is going to be celebrated today. It is optional so it is a game time decision. I like optional.
