Happy July. It is raining again, and again, and again. And I suspect is the end of the world as we know it. In either case, it is Monday and as such we shall start the week with pessimism. In about a week construction shall start on my street to ruin the serenity I enjoy. I am somewhat horrified to hear that the woman across the street from this writer is going on a trip to Africa. Now you may wonder why that would horrify this writer. Simply put, she is married, her husband will not be going along due to his work schedule, and she will be not chaperoned. Hopefully everyone has their calendar pages changed as this is July. I shall probably be sequestered in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, deprived of going for a constitutional unless the weather cooperates. A side note: I have detected some unpleasantness in a tooth. And of course my next appointment is two months away. It only bothers me when I use a toothbrush. A second side note: With the rain, I was lucky to throw out some of the water without getting too wet this morning. Fortunately, darkness, so a lack of clothing to get wet. Have a good day. .Greetings and salutations Lora. It is almost the 4th of July and I can see the excitement one can have in paradise. Of course the fireworks will not be as exciting on Oahu as Hawaii. At least on the other islands you might get bonus coverage of a volcano joining in.
Happy Sunday. It is also the last day of the month. Which means, we go through the gymnastics of changing the pages of our calendars. If one were to be living in New Zealand, this would have already been done. In either case, I would suggest calisthenics before changing the calendars. It was rather hot yesterday. The temperature was in the nineties, and we had some humidity. It was my first extended period of use of the air conditioner. I always try to do without it as long as possible as I look at it as being a form of surrender to summer. It certainly was nice sleeping without the heat. My present temperature I believe is about 77°. I think my backyard will only have a high of 82°. And I suppose there will be some humidity so I may have to have brief encounters with my air conditioner, but I shall try to do without knowing that in five billion years it will do no good. Good morning on this Saturday morning. The rain had stopped yesterday thus allowing the mowing of the lawn. Unfortunately, with the humidity comes the ordeal of not being able to shave without pain and suffering. I made the best of it and got up this morning at 2 AM and minimized the pain. So, it is an early start, and of course later there will be indications of being tired. However, an upside to it is being able to wipe the tray in the microwave of the green substance which comes from cooking carrots with water in the microwave. .The rain has slowed down as of right now. It is almost 6:00 AM and this whole thing is supposed to be over by 9:00 AM. You can probably leave your umbrella at home when you go to your gymnastics class.
Good morning. We have had some storms come through my backyard all night. Outside of the first storm which came through yesterday afternoon, none of the have the wind. A lot of lightning and thunder. A loud one coming through at 4 this morning and continuing this very minute. The good thing about lightning is it breaks up nitrogen, which is a good thing. Helps crops grow. It would not help you to grow if it hits you. I think of this as I dictate with the laptop on top of me. No movie today as I have reached the quota for the week with a movie Tuesday for extra credit. Alas. This morning I lost a good friend on here. I shall miss her as I knew her for quite some time. But life goes on. It has happened before and will so in the future. I shall mentally be wearing the black arm band.

Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. It is supposed to be another warm day again. We got into the mid eighties yesterday. I was able to survive without using the air conditioner. However, I did not have a lot of movement. My agenda today is limited. I most likely will go over to the church. Today I shall make certain I do not attend any function after the service. I detailed the travesty of being forced to eat all of that cake and fancy pastry yesterday in celebration of a new priest. I then shall make a good effort to go to the grocery store on the other side of the galaxy. I was planning on going yesterday before the torture after the Mass. I then most likely shall hide in the house unless I get the ambition to mow the lawn. In this hot weather I would like to mow the lawn in the morning but my neighbor works late and he would appreciate being able to sleep. In either case, have a good day. I decided to attend the theater today even though it is not MOVIE DAY. Got bored. First this morning I attended church and it just so happened to be a Mass by some priest who just got ordained. Meant a longer service being he had someone looking over his shoulder. Then there was a reception someone talked me into going to. I usually do not do this, and especially partake in the refreshments. I was only going to have some coffee but the mob subdued me, threw me over a table and forced me to eat about six different types of cake and bread. I am now hiding in the house.
Good morning. It is going to be a hot one in my backyard today. I think about 85°. It may actually drive me to activate my air conditioner. As most things, a game time decision. Speaking of game time decisions, yesterday I attempted to make a spoon speak. I wasn't quite certain on directions of cooking as I do not use a grill. I asked someone working at the grocery store and they brought out their cellphone and got some cooking directions for it. It did not seem right to this writer. I thought it would not be cooked in 11 minutes but he said that was the directions. Naturally the steak ended up quite a bit rare. I liked to eat steaks rare but since I found out about the dangers of eating raw meat, I have limited myself on this. I attempted to eat it but the further in I got, the redder the meat. I put it a microwave and zapped it somewhat. In either case, that shall be my last attempt at a spoon state in the next millennium. One of my pictures that I have included in this communique is of a volcano. A person was looking out the window on an airplane and was surprised at seeing this volcano. As is usual, this time of the morning I have high hopes that you have a good day. Naturally as the day gets longer, my optimism shall wean and hope shall not spring eternal. Have a good day. Good morning on this Monday morning. We have had quite a bit of rain over the last 24 hours. Fortunately, none of it was involving a storm so there was no damage and other things connected to a storm. Europe is going to get some hot weather this week. When I went out this morning to throw out the water, it seemed somewhat humid. It's not exceptionally warm, I think about 66°but it felt uncomfortable outside. I took the liberty of checking the weather and it does not look too bad as far as the heat today. About 71°. More rain today. And tomorrow it starts warming up into the eighties. I may have to activate my air conditioner. It has only been activated one time since I have installed it in the window. It is more or less a security blanket for this writer. It makes noise while I'm watching the television, however I have now hooked the television set up to the stereo where I can increase the volume. This would include being able to use headphones. I had been planning on doing this for about seven or eight years at least. It has never worked for me before on these televisions. It did work on a previous television. I think it works now because there is a necessity for me to get it done. Once again, I have not used it but it is a security blanket.

The National Safety Council has asked that I remind you that most accidents occur in the home. Therefore, this might be a very good place to avoid. If you must be there, now would be an excellent time to check for those items that might be lying around or waiting to produce accidents. Roller skates at the bottom of the stairs, poorly insulated wires near the bathtub, ground glass in the sugar bowl, arsenic in the coffee. Little things which, if you don't find, you may regret for the rest of your life. So much for accidents.

It must have drizzled between the time I threw out the water and finished my preliminary breakfast, as the ground looked wet looking through the window. Hard to tell as darkness ruled. Good morning. Friday has arrived and so has this writer. I had high hopes of attending the theater this morning but now there is uncertainty. I have checked the selections at the theater and the starting times are not very good for this writer. Later starting times than usual for my selections. Both of them at approximately 11:00 AM, give or take 20 minutes. I hate to be in the theater in the afternoon. Thus, it shall be a game time decision. All we can do for these hope for the best. Besides being the longest day of the year, it is also something I like to call, Bring Your Dog To Work Day. In this case, being that we are just figments of electronics, people should bring their dogs to the site. I'm expecting rain later, and probably throughout the weekend. We have to make certain to get enough rain to send more water to Louisiana. The river that goes past my house also ends up in New Orleans.

Good morning. It is Garbage Day in my alley. I shall only be attending the service in regards to recyclables. I had previously detailed my surreptitious ways of getting rid of my regular surplus. I am preparing for tomorrow. It shall be the longest day of the year. And for those of you who are chronicling my life, it is the official start of summer. I actually had a successful day yesterday. I was able to get to the bank and update a couple of flash drives I have in my safe deposit box. I always like to have everything duplicated in case of a tornado, fire, or an asteroid hitting the earth. I still remember when several years ago a couple of young girls looking through the debris for their laptops after their apartment was trashed by a tornado. I interviewed one of the girls and she told me she was hoping her laptop would continue to work as she had all of her pictures in the laptop. I could not believe that someone from her generation did not have a flash drive stored in her parents' house. In either case, upon completing that task, I then was able to go for a constitutional. I have nothing mandatory on my agenda for today. I plan on a couple of things. I think I shall head over to church in under 2 hours. Outside of that, I shall play it by ear. I'm hoping to go for a constitutional as I'm expecting rain tomorrow and the next day.
