Rescue Me

@Ginger's Poetry

i cant forget the feeling of being whole.

i lost myself inside your soul.

we were one, we were having fun

but than it all ended so suddenly

now i am locked up in these chains i bare

as i begin to fear.

nightmares of the futures

drench my mind

as i am lost and oh so blind

please take these curtains from my eyes

please get rid of all of these pointless lies

i didnt mean to treat you bad

now i am feeling oh so sad.

you hold the key

to these shackles that strain me.

now if you would just make a journey

across this windy sea

and please come rescue me.

May this day bring you love and happiness***

Ginger

Wishing a very beautiful and joyous Sunday to all my friends. Ours will be especially blessed as we are welcoming our youngest daughter and her kitten home from her successful field placement in Toronto. We are looking forward to the positive energy she brings to our household and will be going to the airport in the morning to pick her up. My husband and I have planned a special menu involving her favourite foods and the chocolate brownies are all ready to be eaten! Take time to celebrate special little moments every day!

Hello Gill, hope you are well and doing OK over there.  Spring is not quite her yet as the blossoms are not blooming yet.  Take good care.

I did not know that a member of the  Seekers was involved with the New Seekers.

They,  The New Seekers, had a couple of big hits,,,,,,"LookWhat they've Done to my song",,,, "I'd like to teach the world to sing".

That last one was a Christmas Ad for Coca Cola (the tune)

I expect by now thar the New Seekers are history.

I was living in England when both groups were popular

I think that maybe you are a fan of the  music of Australian group called The Seekers.

I see their album and of course Judith Durham who was the main vocalist, in your collection.

I too thought they were a great singing group in the 1960/70s.

After they broke up another group took the name, calling themselves, The New Seekers. they were pretty good also.

Yes, I like the Seekers. They have currently reunited for the 50 year anniversary, they have had spells of reuniting over the years. Never really broken up forever. They are great and I wish I lived in Australia as they are beginning 50 year anniversary concerts. The New Seekers was started by Keith Potger who is in The Seekers. Judith Durham is amazing.

expressions and quotes associated with dogs. Can you name any? I'll start off with one.
Every dog has his day.
