Hello Sunshine :-) Speaking of sunshine, Tampa broke a record today with 90ºF We don't usually get that hot along the coast. Fortunately, it cools down in the evenings. Hello Gill, Today was a good day for bird and and cloud watching. I gave it my all :-) I have so many things I enjoy doing and one is 'nothing' Which means tomorrow I have a lot of 'something' I need to do! lol I hope you do 'something' fun... P.S. Wow we woke up to Spring this morning what a great day we are having. It's a bit windy so hard to believe it's 62 F but I will take this any day. Friday date day we were determined to get away for a few hours so we headed down to Amish Country. Went to Mount Hope and went into the huge Lehmans Store. If it is made anywhere they sell it. They cater to Amish because we saw kerosene washing machines $1,000. They also had a huge side by side refrigerator that ran on kerosene for a mere $4,000. Very interesting day and we realize it's not cheaper to be Amish at all. Went to Yoders for the buffet. We have just about stopped going to buffets but this could not be beat and the food was cooked just right. Started using My Wii Active dvd these last few days...wow step aerobics is a workout but easy for even me to learn.
Hi there - thanks for accepting my offer of friendship. I look forward to learning all there is to learn about New Zealand. I am fascinated about learning of different cultures and everyday life in different countries. I would think we have more similarities than differences though, including the dreaded GST! This morning we woke up to a full blanket of snow. Sometimes I wonder if spring will ever come! The temperatures are a full 10 degrees C. lower than usual for this time of year. We do have a home and garden show in town, so I think I'll visit that today so I can at least dream. Well I am looking forward to getting to know you better. I enjoyed your NZ video by the way! Can't wait until Monday because it's going to be in the 70's and by Wednesday it's suppose to be 82 .. in fact we're going to have at least five days of lovely warm weather. Hello Gill, Can we talk :-) It's been raining the last few days but, for the weekend and week ahead it's going to be in the 80's and that means that it's weeding time again. I made a pretty long wind chime by putting several together and today while puppy and I were sitting on the porch I saw a squirrel jump on it and climb up to the roof.Guess I'll be taking that down!
