Got tuckered out yesterday after fighting cold, cold winds. Snow came o/nite with a glorious full moon. Penguins came a-visiting. Didn't help. Have a happy weekend. Cheers,
It was windy here the last 2 days... but it was also in the 80's. At 3 am, the weather app on my phone said, "There is a freeze advisory until 8 am Friday morning!" WHAT?
And next month I have to work. That means driving in the dark as well as getting out in the weather. WHAT?
You have to be kidding me! I live in Texas because I like it 80° or above and not below 50° for very long. How many days until Spring?
When we moved to the DFW area 18 years ago, I had seen snow twice in my life where I lived in South Texas down near Corpus Christi. And I liked it that way... still do!
Hope you are having a good day. I'm a little on the weak side so will take it easy today. Calling for rain today so a good time to just stay put, drink some hot tea, and relax. I even have Christmas music playing, a little early, but so calming. Love your page! Hugs, Nancy
cold yucky day here..sprinkled a bit and will freeze tonight and be cold rest of week
had my eye appt yday and ordered new glasses.. he said are 5 times more powerful than present pair..hope they work OK.. get them next week he said.. $285 for them and new frames. not bad
Just one more week. Are you expecting company??? We might have friends show up this Friday for the day but don't expect anyone for next week.
So I might be poppin' in at your house if I know you are cooking a delicious turkey.
So remember to share your smile, make someone laugh, talk to a stranger, as you never know if God is trying to put them in your life for a reason. We all need friends.
THANK YOU GEORGE. I NEEDED TO HEAR THAT THIS MORNING. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

Another beautiful morning to say good morning God instead of good God morning ? Hope the week is doing good for you and wishing a great finish for the week. Take care and keep sharing your smile and kind word......George
Where oh where did the weekend go? I really think I got lots done and then I look at my list and wonder, "just what did I do?"
No matter what day of week it is or what is on the list, I will always try to be right here for you. And keeping with Thanksgiving, I will again say Thank You for being my Friend.
I hope these flowers will last all week and brighten your days ahead. I bet some of you have already started planning next weeks dinner and will start cooking soon.
Don't forget to share with others that might not have family to cook for them!
I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT NEW WEEK ALSO. GOD BLESS YOU GEORGE. KEEPING YOU IN MY PRAYERS.

It's a good day! Meeting my granddaughter's husband for the first time today. He's from the Dominican and finally received his permanent Visa after going through many jumps and hoops to get here. Covid had shut down the US embassy in the DR so that was another delay. So thankful and happy for them! Hope you enjoy a relaxing and peaceful Sunday! Hugs, Nancy
Today is one of those days, not because of rain but because we started at 35 again today. This is already the third time this month. I am ready for spring, for flowers to emerge and bloom, and warm temperatures.
How many days until Spring? At least I haven't had to turn the heat on yet. But my windows are not open either.
So here I sit dreaming of the future. Guess I had better get up and enjoy every minute of the day and celebrate Saturday with you.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your world with me.
We had a good 'ole Texas thunderstorm last night with LOTS of lightning and thunder with wind and pouring down rain. It only lasted 15-40 minutes depending on where you live in the metroplex but it dumped an inch or more of rain.
Guess what it left behind? That's right, lots of leaves to pick up, rake, or mulch with the mower. It also left us with cooler temperatures again.
My son's friend Paul, passed away yesterday. I just want to say "Thanks for your prayers". I am thankful my son got into Paul's room at the hospital to visit with his family.
