Bella is visiting for a week and Carly is so excited. They ran and ran and ran in the big backyard for over 30 minutes and were exhausted yesterday. This morning they played some inside and then Bennett came over and Bella would fetch every toy he would throw and bring it back to him.
And yes, she can jump the baby gate! She is very smart and knows to sit and lay and understands most things we say to her. We are still learning each other's routines.
Bella is a good dog with kids and other dogs. She is also very good on a leash. I worked on Friday, so we are now ready for some Football... love College football. We are also waiting on cooler weather and maybe a chance at a shower. However, we have already watered the front and the back this morning.
It is a long weekend for lots so enjoy that extra day of doing nothing on LABOR DAY.
I defnitely know the feeling and my heart breaks for you. God has blessed us with many happy memories to get us through. Will pray for you in the coming days as you grieve your beautiful wife's passing. Sending my sympathy, Nancy
I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS GEORGE. MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR YOU. SOON, AND VERY SOON, WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN IN HEAVEN. GOD IS BRINGING ALL HIS FAMILY HOME TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER. HUGS ((((HUGS))))) LEE

Good day and a joyful weekend for you. Very sad days for me as I lost my beautiful wife of 65 years. She has been my life with so many happy memories. She looked so beautiful, calm and rested on her passing. So now I go on thinking and missing her........George
Happy September, George. Happy today (Monday #1, #2, #3, #4 and Friday:), and enjoy looking forward to the first day of Fall that's nearing! I hope your wife has improved greatly... *hugs* -di
That is what we did yesterday! We went to visit our kids and filled our souls with life. Last year we got to see Nicole play Volleyball only on FaceTime as masks and social distancing were in place. Yesterday we got to see Michelle play her first volleyball game with students, parents and grandparents all in the stands cheering on both teams. It was a fast and furious and loud game.
Michelle, serving, is so tiny that they don't let her play the 3 positions at the net and gave her the #1 jersey. As a family the girls have played volleyball for years, but I don't think any of us know all the rules. We are going to try to go back on Thursday to see Nicole play.
I sure hope you are going to unexpected places to enjoy life, especially with family, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. And when we get to Lake Ray Hubbard and know that we are almost back home, our hearts are filled with love.
We went to fill the car up with gas and pick up Tacos for lunch and shared our smiles and a blessing with others today. Sure hope you share your smile with others too because so many people are hurting for their loved ones.
Oh what a beautiful day! Sing it! Now that it is stuck in your head all day, you can thank me later.I got several big things out of the computer room and it is looking a little better. Hubby is weed-eating the yard. Dishwasher is running. Washer and dryer are both running. I'm not sure where they are all running to but Monday is off to a great start.
As you are singing your heart out today, don't forget to open your eyes and share that smile. And don't forget to say a prayer for all those in Ida's path.
Hello George, hope your wife is doing better and able to come home soon. We are to get rain from Hurricane Ida later today and tomorrow. Have a good new week.
Praying for everyone in Louisiana and Mississippi and all in Ida's path. We are blessed with clouds today and hoping for a sprinkle or two of rain as we just finished mowing the yard. The St. Augustine grass was so tall that I couldn't see what shoes I had on my feet.
I looked at the radar as I started this note to you and there was a small shower maybe 30 miles from us. Everything just now got quiet and I could hear rain. I looked at radar again as a shower popped up on top of us. Now it has quit. Blessings from Heaven on our newly mowed yard for 2 minutes.
Now it is time for lunch. What is a girl to do? How does cooking (or fixing something to eat) come around so often?
And all I want to do is read or maybe watch some football or the little league playoff game. I hope you had a blessed weekend and shared your smile.
So why hot tea on this 86* day? I am freezing! Guess I need to check the A.C. I will be having a quiet day today and hope your Sunday is a rexaxing one too! Praying your wife will have a quick recovery. Hugs, Nancy
