Hubby and I are still coughing from our sinus infections. Summer colds are the worst! Saturday we slept on and off most of the day. I do think we are both a bit better but then I remember that I have to work all this week. Yikes! I'm tired again.
Our front came through at 3:15 am this morning. And then the electricity went out at about 3:20 for just over 2 hours. But yes, I was outside on the back porch before 3:30 taking the most beautiful video of the rain, the thunder, and the lightning. Oh how I love it! We ended up with 1/8" of rain and our ditch isn't running water which means we were dry and had lots of cracks to fill. Hope you have not had damage from Elsa!
Thank you for stopping by and keeping me up to date on what is going on in your world. Know that means so very much to me. I am praying you are safe and enjoying each day! Share that smile!
“I have never in my life found myself in a situation where I’ve stopped work and said, ‘Thank God it’s Friday.’ But weekends are special even if your schedule is all over the place. Something tells you the weekend has arrived and you can indulge yourself a bit.
WE HAVE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF RAIN. WE NEEDED IT BUT NOT THIS MUCH. I'M STILL HAVING SOME HEALTH PROBLEMS. PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WIFE.

Howdy mid week. Cloud cover is keeping he temperature down for us just being in the high 80's. Hope the rest of the week is good for you. Take care and keep smiling....George
Well, my one day of work turned into 9 days. So I will be working through Monday the 19th. Please don't give up on me. This sinus infection (now hubby has it too) is kicking us, well you know where. Coughing at night doesn't help the sleep I need to go to work.
Just know how important your friendship is to me and I will check on you as often as I can for now. I have almost no phone service at work and can't log on to anything personal through the servers. So I'll see you this weekend.
So please share your smile and send get well wishes our way as we are going to need them. Sure glad I don't cough this much at work.
