If you imagine a swing set frame that is what I have for feeders but higher to
keep cats from jumping up and getting birds. Judy here and we moved the seed can
from under it to outside frame and set on blocks and upturned plastic trash can over it. now will wait to see if coon pushes it off blocks as did before..Judy moved 3 hangers from top rail to middle of frame away from outside poles so coon will have to walk along top rail to get
to feeders now and climb down hangers to them..and Ive seen them do that on you tube,
If they do that, Ill have to take them down at night and rehang in morning,
Im removing dry cat food from porch at night. All that is supposed to discourage them after a time from visiting your yard, ...we will see
How's your week so far, George? We're seeing sunshine today, 1st in almost a week. Whatever your weather, have a pleasant rest-of-the-week:) *hugs* -di
So my dining room table is loaded with fresh peaches, left to ripen for a few days. Looking forward to my favorite fruit on ice cream and a cobbler! We are having pretty warm temps and hazy skies, due to the fires out west. Should clear out later today. Come on over and I'll make us a peach milkshake!!! Have a wonderful day. Peachy Hugs, Nancy
Finally got all the mail opened yesterday. Caught up with everyone on the phone after I got home. Then today we ran errands, Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, gas, Ace Hardware, pick up prescription, Tacos from Rosa's.
After eating lunch, it feels like nap time. We had a little quick shower while we were running errands but I don't think our house got any. But that's OK because yesterday we had 2.4" of rain.
Guess I had better go check on the flower pots kids and see if anyone needs watering or water poured out. I have to get moving before I fall asleep. Besides, I need to see what you have been doing lately!
good morning George, glad your AC is holding out for now. We had to replace ours a couple of years ago. We had a very hot weekend with pop up storms in the afternoons to cool us off. Have a good new week!
I can't say we got rain yet today but the sidewalk is damp. The next 10 days hold a bit of a chance in them and what a Blessing that is for us in July in Texas. Tomorrow will be my last day of work at Edward Jones for a while (until Tisha needs some days of vacation again). I truly love working there with and for Kelly even though it puts me behind getting something done at home.
Yesterday I got a plant put in a pot and moved to the front sidewalk. It was a very humid day and after a couple hours outside, I could smell myself. But the Strawberry plant with babies hanging all around got the babies put next to a new pot for them to take root and the table got somewhat cleaned off.
Just look at all the different colors of this rose as it blooms. It needs both sunshine and rain to accomplish all this. So be sure to share your smile each and every day with everyone you encounter and it will be returned to you 10 fold. I'll see you in a couple of days! Especially with the help of a certain fairy that keeps disappearing.
If your mind insists on reminding you of the negative, have the strength to remind it of your greatness and courage to overcome yourself every day. Happy weekend. Kisses with affection.
Five inches of rain has brought some major flooding to our area. Country roads are treacherous so I am staying put! Hopefully the system will move out soon. Won't have to water flowers for a few days. Hope you have a great weekend, rain or shine! Hugs, Nancy
