We are dreary, overcast, very windy, misty and just plain blah here today! I sure hope the sun is shining on you! Just four more days and I'll be setting my clocks forward before we go to bed. Spring forward and sun shining and setting later in the day is on the way.
I have been cleaning out my bathroom today. Do you know how many containers of powder I had? Way too many and I hate putting on makeup. Needless to say, I will be very glad to go to work for the next 3 days.
Please know that I will be wondering what all your are getting into while I am resting up at work. But
I may have started with a spring in my step, but... 4 hour later there isn't any spring left. And we only worked in the front yard, the easy stuff. We cut back Crepe Myrtles, cleaned out some flower beds, trimmed rose bushes. Doesn't really look like much except for the trash bags waiting for pick up. There is so much dead stuff after our deep freeze. So now I guess you know what is next.
Gosh I hope you don't overdo the weekend with too much fun and end up like us!
Mark another week off the calendar and closer to spring. Gosh I hope you have had a fabulous week. Just a heads up that next week I have to work Wednesday thru Friday, so you won't hear a lot from me. But I will check in when I have time. I'm excited to have lunch with a friend on Tuesday that I haven't seen in a year. So next week is shaping up to be lots of fun.
good morning George, hope your wife is doing better. Very Spring like here with sun and warmer temps. I wish I could save a few of these days for later. I know what you mean about the plants. Our Winter was colder than normal and I drug plants in at night the whole Winter but some of the heavier ones had to stay out in the cold and are looking pretty sad now. TGIF. Hope your Friday is good.
