Hi
Finally some sunshine today and no rain!

School lunch delivered by new volunteer who called me
"Miss Gayle"  Is a nice way to address a senior lady.. may be a southern
thing,,kids were taught that in my day..  cheesy pasta with chicken bits
and green beans and a yummy hot roll.

Friend Bonnie called and the Orioles are still building their nest in tree by her deck.
She's going to try putting out red grapes like i'm doing and i'm going to get
some freeze dried meal worms like she is doing..we learn from each other!

Good morning on this Monday morning.  I hope everyone had a good holiday yesterday.  Now we get back to the real world.  I'm expecting warm weather to return to my backyard.  I believe the rumor is for 68°, or something like that.  And supposedly no rain.  In either case, nothing on my agenda for today.  Sometime this morning I shall go for a constitutional.  I have been averaging about 3 miles.  The funny thing is, it has been harder for me than when I jogged 5 miles.  But at least it gives some exercise rather than confinement in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE.  I really should mow the lawn but I'm trying to put it off until I have more fully recovered from my vertigo.  Everything is going well but the first time of the year to start a lawn mower shall be challenging.  Have a good day.  Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Happy Mother's Day to my fellow moms! And happy Sunday to us all. Yesterday we celebrated our grandson's, Dylan's, 13th birthday. We had a tornado warning during that time with weather alerts going off on everyone's phones and the tv. We enjoyed birthday cake while waiting out the storm. All is well and no tornado touched down so we are very thankful. It was a great time together in spite of the weather. Have a terrific end to the weekend!

Hi Judi. Firstly my very best of wishes for a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.  I hope you have a wondefully relaxing day.

Very overcast and cold here but the rain has eased off but can't complain as it has been so very welcome after the dry season that we had.  How has your Spring been so far?  It does seem to take some time to settle down after the winter and is very unpredictable. That's why Autumn is my favourite time of the year. It's more reliable.
