Good morning. 24* heading to 36*. I am thinking of doing coffee in the next week as I have just passed the one week anniversary of the incident in the last hour. After a week, I still have muscle memory and reach for a cup which is not there. Monday is here and I am planning a day of sequestration, again. No decision on whether to throw the water out in the street or just toss it from the porch. I miss my protocol of the walk at 3 am but I am not going to have an incident like this again. Have a good day and be careful out there if you go to Walmart. By the way........ I had a good experience at Walmart the other day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Sunday. 29* heading to 32* later. A touch of snow on the grass. I plan on sequestration today, totally, with the exception of throwing out the water. Even then it will be off the porch instead of the street. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Saturday. I think I will go over to Walmart early for some Christmas cards. Someone sent me one the other day notifying me of the season. We all know how people think of people sending last year's cards again this year. At one time I tried to regift the cards but people would use ink! I have sequestered myself since the incident and will go early to avoid people cursing and calling me names because of the effects of the incident. I am getting better but I don't want to push the envelope. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Happy Advent for those who celebrate Christmas in real time. Some snow this morning. Not much. Just enough to make it slippery and remind me of the book by Doctor Leo Marvin, BABY STEPS. It took me longer to complete the assignment this morning. I did get some extra credit this morning reconnoitering someone's property to see if they have the decor up yet. They did not and so it was a wasted trip. I probably will remain sequestered today except for a constitutional around the neighborhood to make certain the neighbors are doing well and to give me the opportunity to hear someone in real life. No search for Marge. Sabbath. Have a good day........ and don't slip. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. On a personal level, I start Advent today even though it is Saturday.Nice morning, 23*, heading for 41*. Nothing planned for today except church. Other things may come to pass but that will be a game time decision. A lot of people are putting the decorations up. I should say they have them up. It has been a long time since I celebrated Christmas but I do it vicariously through others. Have a good day. I think I hear the coffee finishing up. The search for Marge will be in the Low Country, South Carolina. Marge has been seen doing some auto body work down there. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
This is good juice, starting with the bottle. I thought it was alcohol at first but it is juice. And it has a kick. Even the cap is something else. One needs a churchkey, to coin a phrase. Even the foam as one pours it.
Good morning. 25* heading to 36* later. Christmas season starts today. You can now wear red. And of course, changing of the calendars. I have one done, two to go. Plans uncertain for this writer for today. I did a peremptory strike yesterday on the chocolate milk and other accessories to life. The search for Marge has moved downtown to the department stores and the windows. Reports coming in Marge is decorating the windows. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Payday if one worked. The search for Marge: Vatican City; looking over Cardinal Burke's apartment he is forced to give up. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy HUMP DAY. Starting off at 21* this morning but heading to the 40s. Nothing planned for today. Yesterday, a needless trip to Walmart. The search for Marge will be at the Kwik Trips. Marge is supposedly leading the recall into some fruit. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. 12* right now. Going down to 10* by daybreak. Heading to 24* later. Fortitude this morning. As Doctor Martin told Bob Wiley, BABY STEPS. Ice here and there so I took the advice of Dr. Martin. I got to Walmart yesterday but I may go back again today if I get the courage to go out again. If I do, I will get to Mass. I hate to start the car. The search for Marge is in Minnesota today as Marge is reportedly interviewing for a postion with the Vikings of the NFL. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Monday. Going to get cold tonight. 10*. The search for Marge today, Times Square. Marge is supposedly selling Christmas trees there. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. 28* with about an inch of snow. Going to 34* later. Pleasant but the pace was slowed this morning for caution of slipping. Nothing planned for today. Tomorrow I plan on activating the car but I shall remain sequestered. I may break out and tour the neighborhood later but that is a game time decision. The search for Marge is headed for ESPN studios where it is reported Marge will be doing NFL television. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Friday morning has arrived but it certainly doesn't feel like it to this writer. I assume it is the holiday that has confused the issue. I went out for my walk this morning and when walking north, it felt cold. It was 19° and it was a good preview of winter. It really didn't seem like there was a lot of wind but there must have been from considering walking north was worse than walking south. In either case, I conquered the situation. Another peculiar thing I noticed, the position of the Moon. The Moon was really huge and I thought it was going to crash into the Earth. It also was positioned to the northwest and I have never noticed it in that position before. I am hopeful that this is my imagination and it is not going to crash into the Earth. It would be somewhat disastrous in the wintertime. I have nothing planned for today. I managed to replenish my bananas and some potatoes while on the walk this morning. There is a convenience store approximately 1/2 mile from my back door and I took the opportunity to kill two birds with one pebble, to coin a phrase. In either case, the weekend is upon us. I also forgot to mention it is BLACK FRIDAY. Unlike in years past traffic was light at 3:00 AM. I guess most people use the Internet now to shop with the exception of the diehard people who just can't resist the fight. A good thought for today: Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello. A bad day for the country 60 years ago. November 22nd 1963. I remember where I was at and who told me. Seems like yesterday. No search for Marge for the rest of the week. Turkey week festivities. Have a good day on this eve of the turkey. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Though your heart is achin' Smile, Even though it's breakin' When there are are clouds in the sky You'll get by... If you smile Through your fear and sorrow Smile, And maybe tomorrow You'll see the sun come shinin' through, For you... Light up your face with gladness Hide, every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near That's the time, You must keep on tryin' Smile, what's the use of cryin' You'll find that life is still worth while If you just smile If you smile Through your fear and sorrow Smile, and maybe tomorrow You'll see the sun come shinin' through for you... Light up your face with gladness Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear May be ever so near That's the time You must keep on tryin' Smile, what's the use of cryin' You'll find that life is still worth while If you just smile If you... just smile
I want to wish you a very Happy Thanks giving.
May God Bless you.
Ill be back soon. still trying to get better with my arm.
Good morning. Monday of Thanksgiving week and what was formerly known as BLACK FRIDAY WEEK. Yesterday I completed the task of discreetly getting rid of the branches and shrubs. I had perfect cover as it was Sunday and Catholics do not sin on Sunday. Search for Marge is at Walgreens today where it is reported Marge is vaccinating people for writer's cramp. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Gregory Peck and Mary Badham on the set of To Kill a Mockingbird. The two would remain close friends until Peck's death in 2003. She always called him Atticus.
