Friday is here and the weekend is almost here again. What is happening in your world today?

I love watching the clouds move in and seeing how different they are each day.
Or watching as the sun changes the colors of the sky as the daylight starts to fade.
The end of the day approaches and the sun starts to set and reflections take on a magical quality. Isn't the sun something wonderful and very hot this summer!
You know, I honestly believe that if our health would cooperate as functionally as it did, when we were in our 20's, we would have those kind of days, EVERYDAY...

It's raining this early morning as I sit here. I seen a few flashes of lightning. It's been a rainy week. I like the rain. Much rather have rain than horrible dry spells. I also like the sound of rain. It can lull me to sleep if I'm in bed. Do you like the sound of rain outside your window? You know, I was reading a little more about sunflowers and it said they grow best in temps between 64 to 92. Caused me to start wondering if possibly it's just too darn hot where you are to grow properly. Just a thought. When planted in the garden, it looks as though they're watching over the garden. Kinda cute!
That no good humidity is still hanging on. Takes quite awhile for that stuff to float on out. Possibly by mid to the end of September, it might start to let up a bit. Did you ever accidently leave your glass of ice tea set on a wooden end stand? Geez, that impossible to remove. The condensation builds up a lot on anything cold. Makes such a mess. I always try to make sure I keep something under my cup to absorb the sloppy mess. Have you ever tried putting peanut butter on the stain of a water ring? Then take a piece of cloth (not a paper towel) and rub like crazy. Sometimes that will help depending on how long the cup had been sitting there. I have an ice tea with me now on the desk and I have two napkins under it. Summer sure can be messy. Even with the a/c running, which it always is, that still doesn't remove the humidity from the air. I would think it would, but it doesn't.
It was a lot cooler today with temps in the mid 80's. Cleaned off the bathroom counter - what a mess as it hadn't been cleaned since all the work was done in there. Cleaned everything else except the floor - will do that tomorrow. Went for wing nite but made dinner at home - a pasta sausage brocolli rabe dish. Met up with family and friends and brought 10 wings home for another time. Seems like it shuld be the weekend as I'm tired. Gonna go to bed and let all the other commens go. Have a nice Friday Darci. Hello there. Just a quick hello and hope you are enjoying your afternoon. I went to see my son and his girlfriend this morning. We went out to eat and then back to their apartment. She tried on the dress that she is getting married in and I helped her fix it where she could sew it so it will fit better. After I left I went to Walmart and got the things we needed, came home and put all the stuff away. Then I had to go to the pharmacy and pick up my pills. Just now getting my laundry going and have dishes to wash. Time flys by so quickly when you are visiting.Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl

Good morning. Thursday morning and raining off and on all night. I was surprised to make the trek this morning relatively unscathed by the rain. I was not going to go to church this morning but an emergency has come up so I shall be going since I have to activate the car. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
