TGIF! It has been a rainy, gray day and now I'm ready to get cozy and stay home. Had errands to run and got soaked doing so. At least it's not been cold today. I've got my wet shoes and socks off, my slippers on, and I'm ready to relax. How has your day been, Bren? Any weekend plans?

I am enjoying some Snickerdoodle flavored coffee at the moment. Yummy in the tummy more so if I also had a snickerdoodle cookie in hand .

Welcome to Wednesday! We've made it this far so I think we can start our coast to the weekend now. I have some cleaning to do that I want to get done this morning so I can have a "do-what-I-want" afternoon! What's happening at your house today, Bren?
Terrific Tuesday to you! I've been out for a walk around the backyard, taking note of everything blooming and getting ready to pop. The plum tree, peach trees, my Lady Banks rose, blueberries......all are either in full bloom or about to be. I am going to try to not think about next week's weather forecast! Nighttime temps are to get below freezing and that will be all she wrote for our things in bloom. Happens so often this time of year and always makes me sad. So I will enjoy my blossoming backyard while I can and not give too much thought to what may be coming. Enjoy today!
It is a nasty, soggy, sloppy day but it's FRIDAY so that sort of makes everything better. We went to Sam's Club earlier and got a few necessities and a couple not-so-necessary items, too. Darn those things that just hop into your cart when you're not looking! I've done some things around the house this afternoon and I'm looking forward to sitting down and relaxing soon. Very soon! Hope your day has been great and that we both have a terrific weekend coming up.

sorry for not being here much lately, i fell on the ice last week and bruised my right leg and hip pretty bad, and it hurts to sit too long...hope your week-end is going well...and if you have some spare somshine, please send it my way...hugs

We have sunshine today! I am so glad. Looks like many chances for rain in the next several days so I will soak up the sun while I am able. We have had a crazy morning; searching for the cord to our griddle. I always make grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes on the griddle and apparently we have a cord thief who needed it way more than we did. I mean, seriously, how can it be MIA? We have looked in logical, reasonable places and also in bizarre, off the wall places and it's simply not here. Thank goodness we could order a replacement directly from the company (which Dave did). Now you KNOW that darn cord will show up before the new one arrives, right? Have to laugh because it truly is the story of our lives. HAHA Hope you find everything YOU look for today!
It's a drizzly Tuesday here and supposed to get to the low 60s later. The birds don't mind the rain; they are flocking to the feeders in droves and are such fun to watch. I need to do a couple things around the house today and then plan to crochet. May run to Tractor Supply to get a thornless raspberry bush to add to our "orchard" area. What a dreary Monday it is here. And tomorrow is to be a rainy day so I may just sleep all day. HAHA I am thankful for good books to read, magazines to peruse, and my yarn projects! I find myself really becoming eager for spring; especially after the warm weather we had last week. I am ready to plant flowers and be outside. It's Friday! And what a gorgeous Friday it is for me, Bren! Currently 70* and sunny with a breeze. Guess you know where I'll be this afternoon. Days like this, the porch beckons me and not subtly! Been for groceries and have laundry going and that'a about all I plan to accomplish today. How is your day going? Hope it's great!

Toasty warm in the home drinking some flavored coconut mango tea from Stash as the temp will drop to around 27 below F.for over night. Abit chilly I would say. We've made it to midweek, Bren! And it certainly has been a beautiful week so far! A girl could get used to this but, alas, it isn't here to stay just yet. I think I have spring fever because I've been in a mood to purge stuff and clean out cupboards. Like the beautiful weather, this feeling won't last forever so I must run with it while it's here.
