A nice afternoon to you. The weather at 50 degrees is giving us a nice rainy day and the blustering fall winds along with it. A good day to stay put indoors .
I am enjoying at the moment a flavored cup of toasted marchmellow mocha coffee. I so do enjoy that blend this time of the season. Hope life is being kind to you and you have peace within your being. Smiles Gloria
Breathing is the greatest pleasure in life. Smile, breathe and go slowly.
Summer weather in September stinks. Just stinks. Weatherman says we could break or tie our record high temperature for this date today. As if that is something to celebrate? LOL Upper 90s, complete with high dew points, makes for another indoor day for me. But hey, on a positive note, I'm sure getting a lot done in the house! I KNEW if I looked hard enough I could find at least a sliver of a silver lining. HAHA Hope your Thursday is going well.
A very nice Monday day to you. It is a very windy fall day here so think I will just do my errands tomorrow and have another cup of coffee to brighten my day even more. Smiles so warms ones heart. My how I like my smilie wrinkles I have required throughout the years. Do have a great Monday . Smiles Gloria
Please have a relaxing, peaceful Sunday as we prepare to start a new week. FOOTBALL is on today and though it's not always relaxing to watch, it definitely is FUN. Just enjoy the day, whatever you may or may not be doing, Bren.
The weekend is here, Bren! And I am heading out shortly to buy a new garden flag and some yarn for my next project. As soon as I finish Jude's Christmas gift, that is. Leaves are falling like crazy here but not because they are colorful and it's time. They are dropping like flies due to the fact that it is so dry. No rain in our forecast until maybe end of next week. It's a daily task to keep the porches swept off so we don't keep tracking in crushed leaves. Hey, it's exercise, right? Enjoy the day and be safe!
Happy Friday! Hot and dry, yet again, and the only thing we felt from Dorian was a good stiff breeze yesterday. I believe Mother Nature's calendar is stuck on August because our weather is no where near fall like. I keep reminding myself how much I love October so I hope when it arrives, it doesn't let me down. LOL Have a fantastic day and let's get the weekend off to a good start, Bren.
Welcome to Wednesday, Bren! I hope yours will be a good one. Doing some housework and then hope to enjoy some crocheting later on. Making our 1 year old grandson a blanket for his crib for Christmas. I made him a small sunshine pillow to go with. I love having yarn projects to do. They are my peace and quiet! Now off to do some laundry!
It is in the 50's today so the heat has been turned on to take the chill out of the home. A bit of a rainy misty day so I have decided to just sit back and get into a book and have another cup of hot coffee and or tea. What ever your enduring today stay safe while your enjoying your moments. Smiles Gloria
I'm still here....just been busy, busy, busy helping daughter and her crew get moved across town. Today I really didn't do much at her house but did have some neglected things at MY house to do before going over to Melanie's to take her a couple things. It's great having her close by. Hope your weekend has been awesome and that you've enjoyed Labor Day! Just wanted to touch base so you know I'm still among the living!
TGIF! A gorgeous day here but warming up to around 90 today and tomorrow, they say. If they humidity stays away, I can deal, Bren. Our daughter has her closing on her new home this afternoon. But, as always happens with Melanie, things have been a jumbled mess all week and will continue this weekend. Closing got moved from yesterday to today. Place of closing got moved from in town to another town. The POD was to be delivered to the new place Thursday but had to be switched to today. Movers can't move the furniture tomorrow so will be coming Sunday morning instead. Looks like they will be sleeping at their new house in sleeping bags tonight! But they won't mind a bit because this will all finally be a done deal and they can BREATHE. Can't wait to see their new home later today. Have a great rest of the day! Remember, I may not be around for a day or two this weekend due to helping Mel and Adam. Bren, I love apple season, too. I love cider and apple crisp and apple strudel. And a nice, juicy, sweet apple to just munch on!
So happy to have the sun shinning once more after 2 days of rain. Read books during those days so will need to head over to our friendly library and pick up some more to read this afternoon. May the Lord bless you on this glorious Wednesday day. Smiles Gloria

A twinkle is in my eye just seeing this wonder once again. This is a nice day to finish reading my book. May you have a pleasant Monday whatever life is giving you. Smiles Gloria
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Yesterday was nice and cool with a good bit of drizzle through much of the day. Today is another cooler day and very much welcomed! We spent the day at Melanie's yesterday and got her kitchen completely packed up. Looks like paper plates and take-out food for them this next week. We all had fun and did a lot of reminiscing while packing up her life from the past 10 years in that house. Today she and her best friend are working together on more packing and purging. Tiring and overwhelming but also so exciting. Schools start back tomorrow here and my oldest grands will be in 8th, 10th, and 12th grades. WHAT????? This can't be possible. Bren, wherever you acquired your artistic abilities, just keep painting. You're making the world a more beautiful place!
