We are still starting each day in the 60's and I like it but this morning is overcast and dreary. Sunshine, where are you? The sunshine makes me smile. So do you! Thanks for being in my life!
Winter, one good thing about winter is filling the freezer with lots of meat. Oh how I miss venison!
Another good thing is baking cookies... just to warm up the house. Oh how I like a nice warm house and HUGS!
OK... that is just NOT happening. I don't even want to go outside in the winter. However, we are 68 this morning and cloudy. We had terrible winds for a couple of days. Friends in Lubbock have Tumbleweeds piled up for the second time over 7' high in their yard. I know that winter is not completely over in Texas so I am off to make some tea or hot chocolate. Hope you are enjoying Winter!
She is unforgettable, a collector of light and grace.
Delicate, yet a force of nature, she finds herself continuously rising beyond the storms that relentlessly arrive to break her.
Amongst the unapologetic winds and piercing rain, she holds her ground standing tall, despite it all planting seeds of faith in all the places that ache the most.
Finding hope in her heartache and strength in her struggles, she keeps reaching for the sun- always moving towards the light, even when giving up seems like the only option.
Bold and vibrant, her power is unwavering.
She knows that growth doesn't happen by avoiding the dark, it comes from finding light in the shadows that fall.
And that's her magic– finding beauty in what's broken, courageously following the direction of the sun even when it's hiding.
She is just like a sunflower - full of beauty but made of strength - chasing light and standing firm, only staying in places where her heart can grow the most.
Emanating love and healing, she's always living her brightest life radiating light to those who are in need of a little sun ..

Sunflowers are beautiful whether far away or up close. whether in black & white or color, whether in sun or freezing cold. Kind of like you are to me! Thanks for being my friend.
Do you read? If so, what kind of books do you enjoy the most? I have mysteries, humor, contemporary romance, women's fiction...
Then I have some thrillers, romantic suspense, historical romance, action and adventure too. You know the kind you don't want to read out loud.
But my favorite and the gendra that I read the most now at my age is Christian Fiction. Those are the ones I enjoy sharing the most too. Often I have to put my book down and think about what I just read or even underline it and bookmark it.
I was under the weather for a couple of days but so much better now. Didn't even read too much but got caught up in my sleep. The new girl's first day is tomorrow. Now I have a million things to catch up on including finishing my book. Nancy, I have missed you! Hope you are feeling OK.
