it's a rainy day here...finally getting some much needed rain... I love the sound of a soft rolling thunder, not the big LOUD crashing sound that thunder can sometimes do... I hope you enjoy your day Darlene!
Hi Darlene got online a tadd late today as i was filling in them holes with mixed soil and some Grass patch.
I was also touching up the garage floor scraping and sanding then painting.I had to go way on the other end of the house and get that looking nice too .
I just don`t know when to stop for a rest im constantly going.
I did my best with Summer , im sure she will join Boomers and i hope you do too .We just moving to a new home.

It`s pretty sad but i hope you get there so you can still chat with us once in awhile and you can still be with the friends you know here.
Page looks nice Darlene Hope to hear back from you partner:) Your friend Rick
I hope you have a wonderful day Darlene...I'm house and dog sitting for my daughter & son-n-law this week...can't get good sleep not being in my own bed! LOL!
Hi Darlene! we had a low key Easter, had pizza for lunch! best part of the morning was watching the hummers out at the feeder. I'm now at my daughter's house and dog sitting, while she & her hubby are having a short vacation. He works really hard in the oil fields, so whenever they get a chance, they go explore.
By the way, I love your page!!

Hello Deb - Is your Easter basket full? I didn't get one, but wish I had one full of bunnies and other goodies.. I could go for some chocolate bunnies right now.. Today would be a good day to shop for candy because all the Easter stuff will be half off, but I don't feel like going to the store today.. We're having ham for dinner/supper.. That's usually what we have for Easter Sunday.. What are you and hubby having today? I was just wondering, what will you do after the lights go out here?
Hey Darlene..finally logging in here today..was busy most of Friday. Learned the page is shutting down. I'm sorry to see it coming to an end. But grateful we met here and look forward in continuing our friendship forward. We have been working outside so haven't done much for Easter. We may end up having lunch out somewhere. A close friend of oirs is very sick, has been in and out of hospitals and therapy since December, so we may go visit here too. It's warming up here again. (Ugh)..my husband loves the nest and I don't, LOL. Somehow we don't kill each other though. Have a wonderful Easter weekend...
we had an egg hunt last week actually because it was the only day we could all get together as a family.
so yes the kiddywinks coloured their eggs very prettily.
then we hid choc eggs all around the garden for them to find /we played chick chick races ,and went fishing with nets from the side of the pool duck fishing .
all good fun .
had a great early easter .
so this week i am gardening .and getting fairies and gnomes back out of ther packing boxes to make my garden once again magical .
let me know how your easter goes ready for next week ok
Hi Darlene, no I don't dye eggs anymore, it's been many years ago that I would do that, and I don't know about the rainbow (I called it "tie dye") egg coloring kits are still sold or not. I don't even look at that kind of stuff, I go straight to the chocolate eggs, or the original jelly beans! LOL!
Hello Deb -- Did you get your eggs for Easter yet? Do you still color eggs? I haven't colored eggs in a long time, but use to enjoy it.. Use to like that oil based dye that streaked rainbow colors all over the eggs.. Don't know if that kind is sold anymore.. Do you know? *hugs*
we had a hot day Sunday, made it to 93* but today will only be in the 80's and the rest of this week is supposed to be nice...I watched the launch of the Blue Origin's all women crew to the edge of space where they got to be weightless. I would LOVE to go up into outer space IF I had the money I would even go on the flight like today's was..but, THAT will never be in my lifetime.
A busy Saturday here. Got the yard mowed and trimmed again, so hopefully rain will stay away for a bit. It was chilly this morning..so we didn't even get started outeide till around 11 am. We are suppose to see a low of 37 tonight.
the 4th eaglet that hatched out, only lived about 24 hrs, it died yesterday afternoon...I was watching it when that happened, the parent eagle buried it in the nest...I had to stop watching the nests, that just broke my heart...I know that these things happen, and it's rare for 4 eggs to be laid, much less for all those babies to survive, but watching one die was just too much for me...

Good morning ... That was cute, Deb! Looks like the eaglets are having a little trouble taking food from mama.. Such tiny little pieces.. I wonder what she was feeding them.. Thanks so much for sharing with me.. Another weekend is here already so I'm wishing you all the best.. Take Care...
🐝 Good morning to you 🐝 Somehow the weekends are still fun no matter my age:) Hope you enjoy yours, too, Darlene! *hugs* PS: Those onions you spoke of... are they good for cooking?
Are you having a good day, I hope? It's a much different weather day here. Yesterday was rain (for which we are grateful!) and today is sunny and much cooler. More springlike temps than what we had. Everything is so vibrant and lush after the rain and just beautiful. Going to make homemade mac and cheese for supper tonight and also make some chocolate pudding. May get in some porch sitting later on! Darlene, I'm like you and love the spring onions. So good on salads and dipped in salt. YUM
Rain moves in this evening and will linger thru Monday..thankfully cooler weather rolls in behind it. This sneak peak of summer was not welcomed. I did get some yard work done, but have more to do. Have a wonderful new week ahead.
Oh, yes... love the sound of rain... and thunder. Wind kinda puts me on 'alert', tho, since a big oak fell on the back of the house one year. Our temps are to be near 90° this week beginning tomorrow. grrrr... don't like that Summer steals time from Spring every single year. Happy April Fools Day, pal. No tricks from me:) *hugs*
we're looking for rain....but I fear it's going to pass us by...some areas of Texas is getting drenched...and we're still hoping for a sprinkle, oh well....I hope you have a wonderful weekend Darlene.
Hope your imagination keeps going strong, Darlene! Sometimes that's what keeps us going when things around us aren't cooperating. ha! It's too hot here. I'm imagining a blizzard wind and thunder snow... *hugs*
It's a beautiful spring day for me, Darlene. Sun is shining, birds are singing, there is a nice breeze, and it should warm up to about 70*F later. Every day I walk around the yard to see what is popping up, budding, or blooming and, every day, I find something new. It makes me very happy. I hope your weather is nice and you are enjoying spring, too.
