Good afternoon, Pat. I so agree about
horrid humidity. And our summers are
all about that, whether or not there's
rain anywhere around. Hope your week
is going well, and you're looking f'ward
to the weekend. We rarely have w/e
plans anymore, but do enjoy having no
plans anymore. haha We are homebodies.
Take care, my friend! *hugs*

[quote="chillipepper"]Hi there. Just wanted to let you know that Trey, our son, is at home. His home, with his wife, is a apartment in Liberal, Kansas. We live 30 minutes from him in Oklahoma. Hope that clears every thing up. He hasn't started physcial therapy yet. He has one more doctor visit on Tuesday the 27th of this month. I've had a busy day. Take care my friend. Hugs, Cheryl

Hi Cheryl. Good to hear your son is doing well. He will be pleased when he is well enough to come home. Has he started with the Physiotherapy?  I’ve only played the game UNO once and that was a long time ago so can’t remember all that much about it. Up until Covid we had a local Canasta group that met every two weeks and when eventually we could get together, unfortunately it never started up again.

That stomach bug didn’t sound pleasant. One wonders where we pick them up. Glad your Ok now.

Oh, 70 deg sounds lovely. Our temps for the past week have swung between 100-104. Mind you that’s normal for this time of the year. It’s the humidity that I dislike as that can drag it out of a person.  Dropped my little dogs off this morning for a bath & clip then called into the Medical Centre to have another Blood Test. Didn’t have to fast with this one.  Then onto the Supermarket to stock up on supplies. Came home and packed everything away followed by a snack then got a message to say they were ready to be collected. I feel like I’ve been on the go for most of the day lol. Enjoy your day. Hugs Pat.

Hi there. Its been a busy day here. Went up and saw my son today and got home around 3 p.m. Had fun. We played 3 games of UNO and I won all three. He didn't like that very much. lol He is getting better each day with his leg and won't be long and he will start physical therapy. He isn't looking forward to that as that will be painful. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care and enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Cheryl

  Hi there Pat ~~

You mentioned having a Vintage Harvest there.. I was wondering what that is.. Is it similar to a county fair or an arts & crafts show?

In the winter there, wouldn't the cold air blow up from Antarctica.. I looked on the world map of where you might be located and it seems as though you're closer to the Antarctica region than to the Arctic region.. I'm mixed up.. I have always had an inquiring mind :)

I'll be getting my hair permed on Thurdsay.. I wear it neck length, but it's much shorther on the top.. I keep it permed to make the top stand up.. Once the old perm starts to weaken, the hair on top falls over to the side.. Did you ever get a perm? I have worn this style for many years, so I don't know how else to wear it..  How do you style your hair?

Take Care, Pat... Always enjoy hearing from you... *hugs*  Darlene

Good afternoon to you. Its a very breezy day here today. Its 57* but doesn't feel like it cause its so windy. I've gotten all my housework done and even managed to get a nap in also. I hope you have a good rest of your day and enjoy your weekend. We have a good chance for snow tomorrow and Sunday. Don't know how much we could get but I would rather not get any. I'm liking the Spring like temperatures we have been having. Well take care my friend. Hugs, Cheryl

Hello Pat, Your weather sounds so pleasant for sure.  We've had chilly temps but sunny this week. I'll be glad when we warm up as I'm tired of dragging the tender plants in and out each day.

Hope your bloodwork turns out well. I had to have some recently but did not have to fast, thankfully.  Tomorrrow we
will attend the Highland Games nearby. Sure enjoyed it last year, the
kilts and the bagpies but esp.the birds of prey presentation.  Have a
good weekend!

Welcome February..will be interesting to see how he remainder of Winter plays out. With Spring coming in March, leap year, and of course as well, we change clocks early this go round. Been watching different weather peeps, and all sound similar to a warm pattern for now. I have daffodils, jonquils popping up, and my lenten roses are already blooming. I'm anxious to start pruning my crepe myrtle trees, but will hold off till mid March. Sending you wishes for a beautiful day -:)

01/31/2024 18:11:19

January was a blur..one day closer to Spring, although recently, some of our temps would say Spring is already here. No snow here in 2 years now.

01/31/2024 10:19:50

Good morning, Pat. So glad your meetings have
resumed for the new year. I bet you're enjoying
working in the yard. I will try to get out more

Wow... a new month arrives and I'm
not done w/this one. lol *hugs*
