Hello. 40* on the walk this morning. No slippery spots, so a pleasant walk if not for the wind. There will be no sun today as I suspect something happened to the sun. Maybe it was hurled out of the solar system by some mysterious happening. Going for a high of 42*. I did make an unexpected cameo at Walmart yesterday.... in the afternoon. I wanted to see how the other people lived and exceeded expectations. Nothing planned for today. Good morning. Yesterday, an unpleasant surprise. Chocolate milk price was increased. I did not notice it until I was checking out. I always do self-service as I do everything individually for the sake of my bank. I had to go twice to Walmart. I somehow was ahead of schedule because of the early start and arrived at the store at 5 AM instead of 6 AM. So the price increase was one more thing in life to worry about for 5 minutes. It rained all night but stopped by the time of my departure for the exercise protocol. I got out a little before 3:00 AM. It had warmed up to 58* so I was over-dressed since it has been in the lower 30s. No rain but it was misting on and off the last mile and a half of the journey. I got into the house and it started raining hard, however it did not last long. I think it is going to end in one hour. I have nothing planned for today, maybe church. Have a good day. Greetings. Yesterday the cable went off during the game at a most untimely manner, the end of the game where it was being decided. No phone, cable or internet. I am preparing for an emergency trip to the store this morning. I got an early start for the walk at 2AM. It was 32*, but there was no wind. Fog started rolling in at about 3AM. Voting experience this morning: It was raining. The parking lot was full denoting a crowd. Never happened to this voter before. There were people standing outside in the rain. I was allowed in as I knew my precinct. I thank the nuns at the school for teaching this student how to read. Waiting in line is unusual for this writer when voting at this place. Then......... the voting machine broke down. We then had to write our choices on a black board and the staff copied it and called it in. Then........ decided to go to church and I found my priest is not back and the priest who likes to talk is there. I am now in THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE for the day.
