It's hard to believe that another week has flown by. We're a ways from Spring here, but the sun is shining in all it's glory today. Sounds like a great week ahead for you. That will be nice to see your friend thats you haven't seen in a year. Enjoy your week-end and week ahead. Sue
I hope your having a great day and into the weekend! Minus 20 but the sun is shining and it has warmed up in the back and I have clothes on the line. Bring on spring, heck! Bring on summer! I want this pool opened! Snowsqualls tonight and tomorow morning but next week is to be bikini weather/ I will believe that if and when it happens! Tee hee.
good morning Pam, hope you got some good BBQ. We've gotten so much rain too. At least it has greened up things. Lovely Spring day here today but more rain otw for tomorrow. Yesterday I visited my sister in law and took her a late birthday gift and card. We had a nice visit on her porch which is very Florida looking with potted palms and hanging plants and flowers. Came home and warmed up leftovers for supper. The sun is out for now so I have all my plants out on the deck to soak it up. Hope your weekend is good and you are enjoying some Spring weather too!
Thank you, Ms. Pam. I try to keep it positive, with everyone, though the response is not always mutual, even within one's own family, if you know what I mean. "Stiff upper lip", and all that, as my ancestors would say...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a FANTABULOUSICAL FREAKY FRIDAY, and a PHENOMULOUS WEEKEND to follow, my friend...
Glad you had a good day Pam. I know what you mean about mowing - with all this rain the grass (weeds) are getting bigger every day. Of course the mower will sink the ground is so soggy. Rich does all the mowing here - he loves it. Tell the truth, I wouldn't even know how to turn it on!! lol Nothing really special going on here today. Rich made breakfast and we went to dinner with our Thursday nite group - there were 10 of us tonite. I had their prime rib for $14.95 and a peach daiquiri. No special plans for tomorrow except going to the VFW as always. I won't be on tomorrow nite as the place might stay open till midnite - but we'll see. Enjoy the rest of the nite Pam. Hugs, Wendy
I have had a quiet Thursday. Spent the morning with chores in my house so I could get the garbage out to be picked up tomorrow. Then I fixed a frozen steak and potatoes dinner for my lunch and also ate some fruit and strawberry cream cheese. Then I played Bingo online this afternoon. I will watch some TV tonight though. I hope you have a real good weekend. Hugs, Nancy
So I'm sending back a hug to you Pam. It's a beautiful sunny day here today; although it's freezing cold. We won't be mowing grass here for a while yet. I had my Zoom Ladies' Bible study this morning; how I'm just trying to get caught up on here. Have a good one! Sue
Hi there. Its going to be another nice day here today. A little cooler than yesterday with a chance of rain. Can't complain about rain when we are very dry here. Not much else going on just doing housework and then going to fun stuff. Take care my friend and have a nice day. Cheryl
It is a sad, sad day. All 7 of my big plants did not survive the cold with no electricity for days in Texas.
Above is my Gardenia and below are my lemon trees,
The lemons are soft and squishy. Only one came off easily, meaning it is ready. When you cut into it, it is pulled away from the rind but it smells amazing. So it will be a lemonade kind of day. We do have beautiful bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. Temperatures are mid 60's.
So here I am wishing you the best middle of the week possible. Share that smile!
Good morning, it was a beautiful day in the 50's and sunny. Now we're back to freezing for the rest of the week. Go figure! Wishing you a Thoughtful Thursday.
Not sure about your lemon plants but your gardenia still has some green on it and your'll be surprised that it can bounce back. Ours was like that after a harsh winter a few years ago and it came back healthy and strong, so dosn't throw it away. Ours was huge and hardly no green on it at all. It's a beautiful 57 degree day here wit lots of sunshine. Have a wondeful da and don't give up!! Hugs, Wendy
