Turning a new sunrise into a beautiful day depends on you ... live every moment with enthusiasm, even if the circumstances are adverse. Happy wednesday! kisses for you.
Good afternoon or soon to be evening. I don't like how early it gets dark here. Its been a nice day here with tempertures in the 80s. Tomorrow it will be back to normal tempertures in the low 60's. How has your day been? Mine has been nice. Went to Walmart this morning and got the things we needed. Well I will go for now. You take care my friend. Many hugs to you, Cheryl
Good afternoon to you. Its a lovely Fall day here. Its 77* out and just beautiful. I hope you are having a good afternoon. I've been having a good day. Went up this morning and spent some time with my son and his wife. Had some fun with their dog. She is quite a hyper dog and lots of fun. Now I'm home getting my housework done. Mainly laundry and dishes. Well enjoy the rest of your day and evening my friend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Hello Pal, well it's nice you had some trick or treaters at least. We had 5 in all and I used most of 2 bags of candy for them. We had just a small amount leftover. I also made oatmeal raisin cookies that day. Hope the lady made something good for your Dominoes supper last night. I laughed about you not wanting cabbage soup! I bought the stuff yesterday to make cabbage i a pot. It's kielbasa, cabbage, onions and potatoes and w really like it. It's kinda like soup I guess but heartier. On Sat. we did not go to the Holiday Open House because i had my dates mixed up. It's NEXT weekend! Instead we attended a quilt show (I'm obsessed with quilts) It was pretty small and not that much to it but we bought some raffle tickets there, the prize a huge handmade quilt of course. Hope I win! Then we ate lunch a new Irish Pub that openend this Summer. It was quite good. We didn't drink anything but sweet tea. I'm not a drinker and hubby had to drive. Praying all goes well for you tomorrow. lotsa hugs, Beth
Darn, I'm sorry your computer has been down and that Rich's 'puter got a virus; that's a major pain in the rear end, isn't it? Makes you feel cut off from everyone. Or, at least, it did feel that way to me when my computer got a virus some years back. Yes, I still remember it! So I'm hoping that both computers' issues get resolved ASAP so you are both back online!!
You have such a cheerful fall page, dear; it's a joy to be here! I didn't do much to change my page from Halloween when November rolled around; just removed some graphics and added in some for Thanksgiving.
Excuse me. One of our cats needed some attention and since he's an older cat...well, I give it to him when he "asks". He's been very independent and standoffish for most of his life, not trusting people all that much. But in the last few months, he's really turned around and I guess all of the care and attention we've poured into him over the years has finally filtered in enough so that he sometimes craves being talked to and stroked. I wish he'd have come to it sooner, but each critter is different and we have to accept that.
The clouds of autumn have settled into our area. Rain, too, and plenty of it. It's wonderful to me after our hot, dry summer but it sure has made the chicken yard into a muddy mess. I can't navigate it well in my yard shoes, so I leave checking the chicken run and chicken coop for eggs to my husband, who has boots with much better traction. I check the nesting boxes since the way to them still has grass on the ground and isn't slippery like the bare dirt/mud of the chicken's part of our yard. Still getting plenty of fresh eggs, though not quite as many as we were getting during the summer. We have been fortunate in finding enough family, neighbors and friends to give our extras to so that our fridge doesn't get overwhelmed with too darned many eggs. Funny, now we have people dropping off egg cartons and most of the time we have no idea who's doing it, as they leave them outside our door and don't even knock to let us know they're there. So we have plenty of those and they're appreciated, though we'd love to trade some full egg cartons for some of those empties.
Alright, Wendy. I've rattled on enough. No worries on getting back to me--just get those 'puters back to being going concerns again!
Hi Wendy. No sometimes I forget to read the bulletins. Computers can be a pain at times and hope all the issues have been resolved. Swan Lake! Have a beautiful week. Hugs
