I ran across a picture of our house before we moved to DFW well over 20 years ago and after sharing it with my precious, dearest friend, who was our next door neighbor, she sent the picture of us back to me.
Would you just look at me now and what I have turned into. What a difference a quarter of a decade makes!
And I fear there are more changes yet to come. Do you like my new look?

Hi Greg, well, I watered my hanging baskets, did a load of laundry, made a strawberry ice box pie, vacuumed all the floors, spread cedar mulch around my swing in the backyard, and spent quite a while watching my new chicks and their adopted mama. It's farm tv here at our house. haha I've even caught Dave stopping to watch them. Yes, we are easily amused. But happiness comes in the simplest of things, don't you agree?

Welcome to the weekend, Greg! I have gotten my to-do list checked off for the day plus a couple things I hadn't even planned. So, though I won't be curled up in a basket taking a cat nap later, I will be relaxing. Sipping my iced tea in the air conditioning while nature tries to remember what season this is and behaves accordingly. Have a super Saturday.
