Good morning. Playing the part of Gene Kelly this morning in SINGING IN THE RAIN. It was not a downpour but it was steady and I got somewhat wet. What concerned this writer, the lightning. At first it was just the rumor of it, the lighting behind the clouds and the grumbling of the thunder in the distance. But then a big bolt came out of the clouds. That got my attention and hurried me along. However, I did not hear the loud clap associated with it. In either case, knowing the forecast for severe weather.... maybe, I cut it down to 3 miles. Maybe later I will pick up a mile going to the store or someplace, but then again, maybe not. Game time decision. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Today was a blur. Had a very bad nite so didn't get but a couple hous sleep and my feet felt like fire. Finally got up at 8 and stayed up till 10. Checked to see if I took my pills and I didn't. Took them asap - no wonder my feet were that bad. Went back to bed at 10 and slept till 3. Woke up much better. So nothing great was done today but I did change the bed and warmed up some chicken brocolli alfredo and the tomato salad. We got a short downpour that was welcomed by all the plants and flowers. There were lots of dark clouds all afternoon and then cleard up nice and bright after it rained. Friday is on it's way and then the weekend. Have you any plans? It'll be the sme for us - out on Friday nite, rest and house work on Sat. and game nite Sunday. Havee yourself a good time. Hugs, Wendy

Here we go, ready or not, Thursday is here. I work Friday, Monday and Tuesday. I will then be home full time starting Wednesday. Do you have plans to go anywhere or do anything fun?
I think I would enjoy a train ride through the rocky mountains but not sure I would trust most of the train tracks of today.
Now a nice quiet boat ride would be fun but I am not interested in running the rapids any time soon.
I do like water, but I am not a swimmer per say. I like fishing from the bank better than from a boat. I love sitting on a bank and listening to the sounds.
And few people love a good rain with thunder and lightning more than I do. Please Lord, let it rain soon all over the state of Texas. We need blessings!
Evening - hope you get this but I'm probably thining since it's as late as it is, you'll probably get it in the morning. Hope your Wednesday was good and you got to do as you wished. I stopped at the senior center to pick up a news letter - late on that as I missed the cooking demo that was last week. I signed up for an ice cream social on Friday and a trip at the end of the month. So it wasn't all bad. Have a great Thursday. Hugs, Wendy
