Good morning Pericrick. Friday morning has arrived but it certainly doesn't feel like it to this writer. I assume it is the holiday that has confused the issue. I went out for my walk this morning and when walking north, it felt cold. It was 19° and it was a good preview of winter. It really didn't seem like there was a lot of wind but there must have been from considering walking north was worse than walking south. In either case, I conquered the situation. Another peculiar thing I noticed, the position of the Moon. The Moon was really huge and I thought it was going to crash into the Earth. It also was positioned to the northwest and I have never noticed it in that position before. I am hopeful that this is my imagination and it is not going to crash into the Earth. It would be somewhat disastrous in the wintertime. I have nothing planned for today. I managed to replenish my bananas and some potatoes while on the walk this morning. There is a convenience store approximately 1/2 mile from my back door and I took the opportunity to kill two birds with one pebble, to coin a phrase. In either case, the weekend is upon us. I also forgot to mention it is BLACK FRIDAY. Unlike in years past traffic was light at 3:00 AM. I guess most people use the Internet now to shop with the exception of the diehard people who just can't resist the fight. A good thought for today: Have a good day. Good morning Pericrick. Thanksgiving week is rolling on for those who observe it. I am going to try to make church the next two days because on Thanksgiving they have a Mass where more people will attend and I shall avoid that. And Friday, the priest will take the day off. I wonder if he is going to do BLACK FRIDAY. In either case, I have reconciled myself to the idea that the battery in my motorcycle is defective after three and a half years and I shall wait for the ride next spring. I may need counselling for this. And oh yes....... the coffee maker was cleaned with vinegar yesterday. A necessary evil of life. I am just about ready to try a cup of coffee now. Have a good day. Happy Friday Pericrick. It is 36* with a feel good temp of 28*. Walking into the wind made it feel like winter. Heading for 46* later. Yesterday it got into the 60s and it was so nice I went out and cut some brush and branches. I usually don't have ambition as I have no real way of transporting it. Now my yard is a mess. Greetings Pericrick. Veterans Day is observed today. No mail in the colonies. After my walk today, I was going to go for a ride on the motorcycle. It is 37* and pleasant. I was surprised the bike started considering the trouble with the battery. I started the bike for a few minutes and went into the house for proper attire. I went back out to go and the bike would not start and thus............ massive depression. I do not want to buy a battery until the spring so I may have to endure this agony until then. Good morning Pericrick. Happy HUMP DAY. 40* this morning on the street. I managed to get my walk in this morning even though it was like pulling teeth to get out the door. I had no ambition to start the day but I succeeded. I am planning a trip over to Walmart in approximately 1.5 hours, give or take 13 seconds. A semi emergency. If I do not get there, the world shall not end. As I walked down the street this morning, I noticed quite a few Christmas decorations being up, or partially completed. One might think it is early for that. However I noticed quite a few residents of the site have already started decorating their pages. Some of these decorations are brutal. Some are celebrating winter. What's wrong with these people! The only thing I can think of is that they live south of the Mason Dixon Line and don't know what winter really is like.
