It is 22* outside, the windows on the car are frosted up, the door handle on the back door was frozen so I had to use force to re-enter FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, and a visual sighting of some ice on the street. Not much as the ground is still warm from the devil keeping the furnace on in Hell. I am planning on going to church in about 90 minutes of this keystroke. The other option is waiting for 12:30. Happy Halloween Pericrick. Some light snow but more snow, maybe 1 to 2 inches, later. On the walk this morning, some snow on rooftops, lawns and cars. Pavement just wet. In 1992 we had a snow storm. I believe about 6 inches. It had a lot of water in it and it became slush. I remember driving home in that. It should not be like that here, however, I was hoping to go trick or treating on the bike. Happy Saturday Pericrick. The coffee is on and then I shall be going to Walmart. I have been out of some food reserves since the car broke down unexpectedly. Got the car back but the cost of the repairs was traumatic. More than the car is worth but I did not feel like trying to buy a new one right now. Hello Pericrick. I'm starting today at 48°, which is a lot warmer than yesterday at this time. I think we'll reach 60° today although there is a rumor of rain. Uncertainty clouds my future for today. My first sign post of the day will be in about 2 hours when I shall have to decide on whether to attend church. After that, everything is up in the air. In either case, I have completed my task for this morning as far as the exercise protocol. I now await the completion of the coffee brewing. I just opened a container of Folgers Black Silk. I have been without that for a while now for quite awhile finishing up something less. Maybe I shall count that period of time for Lent. I have nothing planned for today except maybe church. Good morning Pericrick. Happy Saturday. When I went out for my walk this morning it was misting and I feared the worst. Yesterday we had nothing but rain including several downpours . There must have been more wind than this writer knew about as I saw a couple of construction signs tipped over. In either case, a successful start this morning. I am currently awaiting a coffee as I type. I shall then finish my comments and continue on with breakfast. Nothing on the agenda for today except church later this afternoon. Even if I felt like going somewhere, with all the construction going on right now, I would not. My patience is not good. It doesn't look like too much rain today as I audited the weather map. I like that store. I have not needed much lately as one of my neighbors has been supplying some of us with various things but there are still things to buy. Maybe tomorrow but it will be a game time decision, of course. Someone wanted me to go to some birthday get-together in another place. I hate those things and will be hiding the rest of the day. Happy Saturday Pericrick. I'm starting the day off at 40°. It was not uncomfortable on the walk. It actually was warmer yesterday, around 47°, but it seemed a lot colder yesterday. The good news is the temperature will rise to 56 degrees today. Bring out the beach blanket. I have not decided on an agenda for today but I shall be getting out and about celebrating another day of life. I look in the obituaries every day and see people no longer here. Some of these people had such a good and productive life compared to this writer. The good news of course is that they will hate to leave more than I shall.
