I was reading that the fireworks have been rescheduled for tonight. I could have sworn I heard it last night. During the day today, I am expecting more severe rain. This is a minor marathon I recorded yesterday. I felt like jumping in but I had no credentials to be on the premises.
Good morning Pericrick. Happy Friday. After a lot of rain yesterday and into the night, it stopped early enough to allow the fireworks to happen. I was doubtful being the flooding conditions across the river and then more rain happening. A quick perusal of the weather forecast for today indicates some rain again. We are fortunate to have so many places for the water to go so we don't have any real flooding in the city. I got out and rode around on my motorcycle yesterday and of course I have published pictures of the Riverfest and the mighty Mississippi River which seems to be exceeding its banks. Good morning Pericrick. It seems cool (71*) in the house. 59* outside, going to 72* later. It has been raining all night. Started last night around 11PM and supposedly will continue to about 9AM, give or take a few minutes. I have cancelled my exercise for today, unless I go later but the odds are against that. I am counting down to the dental appointment for tomorrow. I received a call yesterday informing me the dentist will not be there to yell and chastise this patient. I could see the guy he hired but I do not do that. The FOURTH OF JULY is close. People going to Riverfest and so forth. People who have lives enjoying themselves. I used to be one of those people. Good morning Pericrick. Started off at 52*, heading for 73*. Got started early this morning, into the darkness with caution. I almost felt like going back in and getting a jacket but conquered the feeling. The dead deer is still on the sidewalk from yesterday. I was cautious walking there to make sure some bear or other panhandler was not there eating it. Nothing planned. Maybe a short walk to the convenience store for some bananas. Game time decision. Good morning Pericrick. It is a cool 58° this morning. In my house, I have awakened to 77°. I am resisting aerating the house until after my exercise which shall begin in about an hour. I have looked across the street at the house that was assailed yesterday morning by creatures of the night. There is no sign of trouble as I suspect the woman is hermetically sealed into her house. For now, it looks like the drama will not unfold this morning as it did yesterday. I have not decided on an agenda for enjoyment today. By the end of the day, a problem will occur with the exhaustion of chocolate milk. I shall have to make a trip by the very latest tomorrow to Walmart. Have a good day. Good morning Pericrick. I looked outside this morning before 3 and across the street stood a woman giving directives to her husband on a plan of attack. Their peace and tranquility was being attacked by a beast, a bat. I think the bat was the size of a refrigerator and according to her, her husband could not leave for work until the danger was eradicated. I have had similar problems in the past where a Pterodactyl would come into my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. I am expecting some rain, just a little around 7 this morning. I am currently aerating before my exercise this morning. Seems less humid, so far. About 70 this morning so far and maybe it will drop a few more degrees before the sun shows up. When I went to Walmart yesterday at 6 in the morning, there was a guy there dressed oddly. Unfortunately I did not have a camera and missed the opportunity for a show and tell. Have a good day. Good morning Pericrick. I hear rain. I hear thunder. I see lightning. Looks like rain most of the day. Looks like a day of retreat to my Ready Room in the Fortress of Solitude. Church later. As I am typing this, the rain is coming down much harder. This is the type of weather Noah described when building the boat I like to call The Ark. Now I had to close the window. Good morning Pericrick. I have returned from the eye exam without fanfare. After some berating by the assistant and some yelling, it went reasonably well. Expecting more rain today.......... after 7 I think. That will allow me to complete my walk. I only did 2 miles yesterday due to the pressure of thinking of the eye exam. And besides the eye exam yesterday, I had to endure a trip to Walmart. Fortunately it was early. I did not have to look at the customers who came in costume and so forth. Have a good day. Good morning Pericrick. Cool rain came through and is continuing as of this typing. Currently 71* going to a high of 74* A vast improvement. I am trying to cool the house down by aerating the place. Tomorrow is the eye exam so I feel confined today, as with all appointments. I use the appointments for social dating. Nothing planned for today. Playing it by ear,to coin a phrase. Good morning Pericrick. Going to be another hot one today. Tomorrow, a day of cooling. It does not pay for me to aerate the house. The difference in the temp between outside and inside is about 2*. In years past, I could cool the house down overnight. I guess one can look at it as not bad compared to my neighborhood in a billion years. The average temp will be 1500* F. Greetings Pericrick. Monday. Supposed to get some rain with a chance of severe weather. It was in the 90s yesterday. It was the first day I had to bring out the fan. Right now, it is only 80* in the house but it feels worse than usual. I am aerating the house with the fan in the door but it is 78* outside so I do not know what good it will do. In either case, it looks like I shall be caught in the rain this morning on my walk. I shall be on the countdown for the eye exam later in the week. Live long and prosper.

Good morning Pericrick. The other day, my trip to the mall was a success, to a point. I ordered some tennis shoes. Of course my coupon did not work for that product. I had not bought shoes from Penney's since they quit carrying Nikes. I decided to give another brand a chance. The failure of the trip was not being able to buy sunglasses from the kiosk. It is not there this year. They used to have my type and were inexpensive. Now I shall have to go to Walmart for them. Speaking of Walmart, I should go there today as I have become extremely low on butter. The only other thing today..... church later. My big project yesterday was to rid myself of a lot of the unopened/unread mail and debris from the mail around the house. About 2 years of mail. Most of my mail I do not even open any longer. Good morning Kristina. When I threw out the water this morning, in the distance, lightning. I think it is heat lightning but there is a threat of harsh weather later. Yesterday, I decided to mount a safari to Penney's. I was unsuccessful. I got about a mile and returned to the fortress. I may give it a try again today. I don't want to order from my house as I would have to pay for the shipping. If I do it from the store I am treated as a real customer. The other day I made out a brief list of ITEMS TO DO. I have only got one thing done. I scanned something into my computer. In an hour I embark on my exercise, if the rains do not come, and even then I may still go if not storming.
