It's Friday and I hope yours is going great! We have been to the airport on a dry run today to be sure we know where we are going tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. when we pick up Dave's cousin's hubby. After our airport test run, we went to Bad Daddy's for a burger. Now we are just chilling and enjoying the sunshine and bird watching. Almost time to get the weekend started!
Hi, We are having snow now and going tohave very extremely cold temperatures tonight. Below Zero Wind Chills. BRR... Hubby has to take a friend to the hospital for a MRI in the morning at 7 am. It is going to be so cold. Our Friend is a very elderly lady with severe pain so it is going to be so hard on her. Please Pray for her and my hubby. He took her to the doctor today for a fracture in her elbow. She is having so much pain with it. Wish it wasn't going to be so cold. Have a safe warm night. Geralyn and I were strolling along a small beach island called Maya Key in Honduras when we saw an old shipwreck across the water. So, it reminded me of the old Gilligan's Island sitcom and, of course, I had to ad-lib the song to Ger. It's corny but I hope you think it's funny too!
It is a cold, sunny Tuesday for me. A really pretty day so far. What is going on with you today? I cleaned house yesterday...it had been neglected for a week so it was begging me to find my motivation and my dustcloth! hehe Whatever you're up to, enjoy the day!
It's a new week and it's starting off sunny which is great since it is really cold here! Last week was crazy hectic and I'm hoping that normalcy returns to our world this week. Dave's mom's new apartment at the assisted living center is beautiful and all set up so nicely. Hopefully they will settle in soon; right now they are somewhat confused due to their Alzheimer's and dementia. Today I will clean my poor, neglected house and cook a real meal for supper! Hope all is right as rain in your world.
John and I decided that we would celebrate our anniversary on this particular evening as we departed Jamaica on our cruise. Although our anniversary is actually January 22, it is our tradition to go on a cruise during the month of January. The dates for this cruise fit our schedule perfectly and, although it would have been nice to have been on a cruise on our anniversary, this was the cruise we wanted to go on!
