Good evening Mary Kay hope ur having a pleasant evening we've been busy getting things we need for Labor Day so we haven't been on here until know we're going to have a small cook out just for the two of us we'll be getting the salads and the baked beans made tomorrow then all we have to do on Monday is cook the hotdogs and warm up the baked beans. It's another 90 degree day here - watered the floweer garden - everything is slowly fading away.  Hope you've had a good week so far and enjoy this mid week day.  Haven't had rain in several days now so am watering the plants every couple of days.  Stay well and have a good evening.

Everything quieted down yesterday and we got all our errands completed.  In WalMart, as we come to the end of an aisle, we always look both directions to make sure someone is not going to run over us as we venture out.  Yesterday, after looking right and seeing someone in a glittery, very bright teal sparkle tank top, I quickly looked the other direction.  Someone yelled, "PAM!"  I thought, Oh No!  She was the daughter of one of my best friends from South Texas.  We began visiting in the middle of the store and another lady (neither of us knew) joined us.  She overheard us talking about the Fire in Fate.  I was sharing the pictures of the Fire, then my friend shared pictures of her dog, and our new "friend" also shared her dog pictures.  You never know where a smile and kind words will lead you but it warms your heart.  

I hope you will share your smile today and you just might meet someone new too!

Good afternoon my friend. I hope you are doing good. I'm kind of tired. I did take a nap but it must be the heat and the humidity that is making me tired. Its 90* and feels like 91*. It was in the 70's when I left to go to Walmart this morning. It felt good but didn't stay there for long. I need to do some dusting but I think I will do it tomorrow morning. Just don't have the want to do it today. Are you ready for Fall? I know I am. We had a few days last week that felt like Fall, of course the hubby thought it was cold. lol Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
