Good morning. Big wind chills today and through tomorrow. Right now, temp is alright at 15* but heading down to -15 later tonight. The wind chill today is supposed to be -20 to -30. Good day to hide in the house. No participation today on GARBAGE DAY. Ciao for now and watch your wallet.
Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. It looks as if the big storm has missed my backyard. I was looking at the active radar and we are only getting clipped by the edge of the storm. That being said, the warning is until 9:00 AM my time this morning. It is somewhat warmer this morning, but Thursday and Friday night, -15°. And that is not windchill. That is the actual temperature. And then next week, it gets worse. I previewed the action and there is at least one night where it will be -20° F. I shall definitely have to leave my hot water in the shower dripping. If I get the ambition, I may take a constitutional around the neighborhood later, but that is in doubt.
Have a good day. And let's be careful out there. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! For those of you who keep a biography of this writer, the new episodes of FAMILY FEUD have begun.
Good morning. It is a relatively warm morning, about 15°. There a is a windchill of about 3*, but since I'm not outside, and I do not plan on going outside, BIG DEAL! The big snowstorm is coming in. About five to 8 inches. Just enough to inconvenience people with a real life. Yesterday I bit the bullet and decided to go to the grocery store. As a matter of fact I went to two grocery stores. I enjoy listening to people's conversations while I walk around with a shopping cart. Since I can not get my regular exercise, a shopping cart is the best I can do. Even though the temperature warmed up to about 12° while I was out, it felt a lot colder than that. Today will be sequestration except maybe, a trip to the mailbox. I had forgotten that yesterday was a holiday for the mailman. Last night about 7:00 PM I ventured out to the mailbox to look for the mail and as I got halfway there, I remembered he was on holiday. Fortunately I decided to throw out my water and so it wasn't a wasted trip. At least today I was able to turn off my dripping water in the shower. At least until Wednesday night. Then it becomes cold again. Woe is me! At least during this isolation, I have come up with a new hobby. Burning a candle, a scented candle. I found it while straightening up looking for things I wanted to scan. I think I bought this candle about 300 BC. As I'm composing, the candle's flickering is catching my eye and it takes away my total concentration.
Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Monday morning has arrived and so has this writer. Another cold morning. It is approximately 11° below zero, and whatever the windchill is, it really does not matter. Yesterday was the first time I remember in years not going outside or even opening up the door. I decided to sequester myself in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. I did receive an e-mail later in the day from one of my neighbors who ventured out to Walmart. They said it did not seem too bad, but of course that was after the temps went past the magic number of zero. The good news it is going to rise to 13°later today. The bad news is we are having a snowstorm move in tonight. I believe we are supposed to get about 6 inches of snow and as a bonus some ice. As a previously said it, I am on my countdown.
I am completely exhausted from the football games yesterday. I shall need rest today. Since I was not able to go out yesterday, or at least unwilling, I shall have to go out to throw out my water sometime today. That may be enough exercise for the day. I would like to get out for a constitutional around the neighborhood once the temperature gets past that magic number of zero. Have a good day. If you live in the real world, do your thing. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
After old computer crashed last week, I'm back w/new one. Still getting things setup... and long to go before I sleep:) Windows 10 and I are getting along okay... so far. ha Hope you've had a good weekend, friend. *hugs* -di

HOPE YOU HAVE A PEACEFUL RELAXING SUNDAY. LOVE N HUGS AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ALWAYS MARGE
Good morning. Sunday morning is here and we are winding down the weekend. The weather is cold. I knew that breaking up of THE POLAR VORTEX was going to be bad. I just assumed it would take some time for it to happen. At 4:30 AM I am reporting -4° CLEAR with a windchill of -17° The high of 13 later today. I expect it to become a little colder as we near morning. It could be worse. In the past in my backyard we had at temperatures of 30 below in the winter. That seems like a long time ago. In either case, it always helps to complain. I think I shall remain sequestered in my house the entire day with an exception of later maybe going out and throwing out some water. I am not contemplating even a constitutional around the neighborhood. I think we have one more day of this and then it will warm up into the teens and twenties. The downside is that we are expecting some more snow once this is over. I shall remain focused on my countdown to April 1 when everything else in the world will become perfect.
Have a good day. Hopefully no one has made a police lineup or posing for a mug shot. I have always said if you're going to drink and drive, do it on a motorcycle. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello my sweet friend. How are you. Hope all is well with you and the weather to. Im late tonight sending comments. We are getting a big snow storm and will get close to 2 feet of snow by tomorrow. Its a blizzard storm and the news said there will be power outages everywhere so im hear now before it happens. Its snowing now and im ready for it. Ill keep in touch soon. Im thinking of you and your in my prayers for anything. God bless you my sweet friend. Good night. Im sleepy. :-)
Good morning on this Saturday morning. It is the end of everything known to man in my backyard. There is snow; cold weather, 10° F with a windchill of -1°; and a forecast for the next two nights for this writer to keep his hot water dripping in the shower. To compound this situation, I seem to be coming down with a cold or some situation such as that. A couple of days ago I was attacked by a coughing spree. It lasted about 5 to 10 minutes and then there was no more indication of this situation. Last night I woke up at 2:00 AM and had an uncontrollable sneezing situation. It lasted about 5 minutes and then it also left the area. I do not think I could get back to sleep but I fought off the urge to get out of bed. It was helped by it being somewhat cold in my READY ROOM. In either case, a pleasant surprise, I fell asleep and remained in this coma until 5:00 AM. I feel fully rested but I also know that unless there was a miracle, I am not done with this situation of the illness. I suppose it does not help to be wearing tennis shoes, or to some of you or not aware of this term, sneakers, everywhere I go including moving the shovel around outside. Speaking of that, when I went out to get the mail last night, I pushed the shovel into the snow and made a path to my mailbox. Looking out the window this morning, even though it is dark, it looks as if my shovel has not moved. This is not a good sign for this writer. Just now I heard the friendly sound of the snow plow come through. And then the enjoyment of seeing the guy across the street try moving two cars before the plow goes on his side. He made it. I was thinking of going to the grocery store today considering I have to activate my motor vehicle later today for church anyway. I'm usually too lazy to take it out of the garage and so I try to double up on these situations where in the winter, my car is resting in the garage. One way or the other it has to come out today. My situation this morning shall also have the phrase, MASSIVELY DEPRESSED ABOUT WINTER. Well I complain about this for medicinal purposes.
Have a good day. One spoiler alert about the movie yesterday. There was a place in it where they were talking about vitamin D. I bring this up only because I was going to take some vitamin D this morning and found the expiration on it was 2012. I ordinarily do not concern myself with these types of things but I just decided it would be of no value. Ciao for now a watch your wallet!
Good morning on this Friday morning. It is MOVIE DAY and I shall be attending in approximately 4 hours give or take 37 seconds. We have some minor snow on the road from yesterday which hinders me from going out for my exercise. Later today I shall have some inclement weather that will put a longer stop to my exercise. Snow. I have to remind myself winter cannot last forever. Or so I think. I am on my countdown. Officially the countdown will end before April 1. By then, I always activate my motorcycle by that date, usually somewhat sooner. Not that I am basking in warmth and sun, but I am able to get out on the road without the ice and snow. I am always in danger of winter until about the middle of May. So in either case I shall play the part of a martyr. I'm also hoping to get to the grocery store today although that shall be a game time decision on my ambition. I will have to get the car out of the garage and who knows about that!
Have a good weekend eve. I leave you now with my usual status. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
