Good morning. It is GARBAGE DAY and I shall not be participating. I actually did participate somewhat. I have moved the neighbor's garbage receptacle out to the alley. She is hardly ever home and most likely is up to suspicious activities as far as sexual activities are concerned. I was somewhat surprised to get out for my exercise this morning. The sun came out yesterday and got rid of all of the ice but there were rumors of snow showers overnight making the ground somewhat slippery. So I slept until almost 4:00 AM, which is late if I am planning on going for a jog. I looked outside and it looked all right. I decided to play it by ear and get as much exercise as possible. Once I got going, I was able to complete my task without injury. It is 24°with no wind and so it is what one would call tolerable at this time of year. Now I get on the computer and I look at the weather and we are supposed to have snow showers this morning. It will not end up to anything remarkable as far as accumulation. They are just saying that it will be slippery. I actually tossed around in my mind about activating my motor vehicle and going to a few places. I think I will wait until tomorrow when it is MOVIE DAY. It will be a game time decision.
Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
As a man, I am not into all of those things as baby showers and such. So............ have you ever gone to a GENDER REVEAL PARTY and had to apologize for taking your pants off because you thought everyone was participating?
Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. I'm looking forward to another day of nothingness. I could almost send the same comment out as far as the text of my message because it was that kind of day. I managed to get out yesterday in an icy condition as far is getting to my mailbox. I was able to sprinkle some salt down and almost had an immediate reaction. Last night we were expecting more of the same as far as causing icy conditions. The difference for this writer will be that I had some salt down on the pavement so I should be relatively good on my property. I received an e-mail from one of my neighbors mentioning the guy down the street fell on his head. Nothing critical. A bump on the head and a headache. If I wouldn't have looked at the weather report before I tried it, it could have been my doom. In either case, I shall remain secluded for a second straight day except for a trip, or two, to the mailbox. I still have not retrieved my mail from yesterday but then again, there is no hurry. I do not know if I shall ever see 32°again in my backyard. A brief glance out the window in the dark reveals a street that looks icy.
Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. We had that icy rain last night and therefore I have been sequestered in my house overnight. I have yet to get out and get my mail, not that it is ever important. However, this month I shall receive all of my documents for tax purposes. I was hoping that the slipperiness would leave overnight, but of course not this time of year. I do have a preview of the weather and later today there should be some sunshine. That should enable me to get out to the mailbox. In the meantime, I have self imposed myself into oblivion, a state of remembrance. I have received this admonishment from the weather people: slippery travel on untreated roads and sidewalks this morning... untreated roads, sidewalks, and parking lots will be icy this morning from freezing drizzle that fell overnight. And of course my salt is in the garage. So I shall be waiting it out.
Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! And.......... if you drink coffee, drink the good coffee.
Good morning on this Monday morning. A little colder this morning than previous mornings, about 22°. The air has a dampness to it. Heavy frost on vehicles. It was not horrendous but you knew it was cold. It was reasonable the first 3 1/2 miles, and then for about a mile a person's face would become cold. I analyzed the situation by looking at a flag blowing in the wind. I think that must have started at about the time the cold became noticeable. In either case, it seemed to subside the last half mile. I actually had to force myself out the door this morning due to laziness and cowardice. Once completed, I would expected a hero's welcome back in my neighborhood except it was 4:30 AM and most people were hiding in their beds. A high note for this morning is that I'm drinking the good coffee.
A thought for today: I wonder if people rinse their mouths upon completion of brushing their teeth. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Another pleasant morning with the temperature, about 26°. However, there was no wind to speak of and it was pleasant being out before the people of my city. I like to jog in the streets and therefore I like to get out at approximately 3:00 AM, there is no traffic. This morning I met with very few cars and no one who I would label a pedestrian. And the air is clean and good and you can breathe good air unlike in my fortress where dust occupies space.
I found out yesterday that it is possible for something in my freezer to become inedible. I found two hot dogs in the freezer that have been there since the beginning of time. They were encased in frost. I do not remember purchasing the long hot dogs and these were them. In either case, I did the proper preparations. I sat down to enjoy them and took one bite, and that was enough. Unfortunately, unlike my various food substances in other parts of my fortress, I do not have these items reference by dates. As much as I hate to throw food away, I disposed of these hot dogs immediately. As the years pass by, I have been having to throw out certain food substances more and more.
I plan on remaining sequestered for today. I suppose I could possibly go out for a constitutional around my neighborhood later in the day if boredom were to conquer me. My current status is drinking the bad coffee, I'm doing sold to rid my coffee maker of its last vestiges of vinegar, listening to the stereo, and composing some communiques and emails. This is the last week that it is appropriate for people to keep their Christmas decorations intact. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
