It is in the 50's today so the heat has been turned on to take the chill out of the home. Wanted to drop in and say hello. We had some really nice weather last weekend, and a repeat yesterday..60’s and 70’s..though shortlived, was able to enjoy outside more. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week -:)

Hello my sweet friends and family. I thought I share you what I bought and set up for Fall season. I had a hard time with the ribbon so my mom helped me with this. I had this on my mind for 2 days and thought I have a vace here at home and decided to decorate it. I love fall. I could live in fall weather all year round. Fall is beautiful. I love the colors. I'll be doing more craft stuff soon. I'm still learning. I hope you enjoy this. This is for you. I love you all and hope you have a bless sunday. God bless you. :-)
Hello Mona..so enjoyed reading your update. You have a beautiful yard..and that scenery is breathtaking. My neighbor and I both watch one squirrel toy with her feeder. He is usually hanging upside down from it most days. We have also had deer in our yard..ususlly showing up in November (deer season here). I am in the city limits, but sadly what wooded areas there are here, developers are taking over with mass building. What use to be a quaint small town is slowly turning into a sequel of our next city (across the River-Charlotte) I’ve lived in the same house for close to 24 years, and never fathomed this would happen. Hubby will have to work 15 more years before retirement happens..we are maybe thinking of relocating to Arizona then..but it’s not definite now. His folks live in Phoenix, (he grew up there)..we visited there last Fall. I love the northern part of the State. Anyway, thanks for the update. Will keep checking in here for more pictures -:) Have a blessed week.
Good afternoon Mona - just finished reading your blogs, and have to say how much I enjoyed them - your writing is so mesmerizing - loved hear about all the wildlife you have in your garden and the vews from your home. Our summer hasn't been as exciting as yours but we did see a black bear cub crossing the road in front of us and had to stop for it, and get right on top of it before we could make out what it was. Of course it decided to double back to go here it came from. Most of my plants in the small garden are in pots as the dirt here is terrible - the farmer removing all the good soil, but a rose bush I bought several years ago has grown mmensley and a tick plant is doing very well also. Not many exotic birds at the bath, but for the first time ever I saw a pair of blue birds a couple of times and that's it. Of course the pair of hummers have come back for the third year an am happy about that. Summers have been hot with heat indexs up to 113 - many say they can't wiat for fall, but although I spend the hot days inside the AC, I don't want to rush the seasons - time is movng fast as it is at my age. While we were in the kitchen, my wife, Geralyn, looked out the window and saw a Monarch butterfly in our flower garden. She thought something just didn't seem right about it so I suggested that she go outside to investigate. While I watched through the window, Geralyn picked up the butterfly and brought it inside the house. She told me that it couldn't fly because it had a broken wing and she knew how to mend him!
