Books are my downfall. If I pick one up I do not set it down till the last page is read. This does not keep a clean and happy household if it is allowed to be the norm. So I do not read unless we are on holidays and have nothing else to do so that we can both sit and read and enjoy the sounds of the birds, breeze and anything else that may be near us at the moment. I cannot remember to many authors that I love but so far my all time favourite book was Hawaii, and I loved the series by Jean Auel. I do believe the first was Clan of the cave bear.

I have been a huge fan of Thundercloud and Eightball for years. Not sure how many.. I started back when I first discovered the website for stationary on my windows 98. I used and loved the stationary selections and the fact that I could always count on them to work as promised and to make a lot of my friends want to use stationary in their emails. I got a lot of them hooked on the site and I still think those that did not grow with the times are still using the stationary on their W 98’s.. lol

I love food, love to cook, hate to clean afterwards. If I could find someone that will do the dishes once I have started cooking I would not stop. Mind you I would probably weight 800 pounds also, as one has to test the dishes to make sure that they are good enough to serve.. So as you must have figured out by now I cook very little therefore I clean up very little and I am not 800 lbs.

I am married to the love of my life; we have been together since 1969. We have two beautiful daughters Lily & Tanya, and 5 grandchildren 3 girls, 2 boys. My life is pretty full with having the 3 girls, Ciana (13) Keira (10) & Tnesa (7), all over to bake cakes and cookies. I also watch my youngest grandson Carter (2) at least once a week. The oldest grandson Alex (12) is a step grandson he lives in Vancouver with his mother and we get to see him almost every month.
Kenya is starting to keep me a busy as my grandson Carter does..She is getting so big and has a great personality, she loves to spend all day long outside in the sun on the back deck watching me do my work. Hates the lawnmower or other loud sounds but she is pretty darn laid back for a 6 month old puppy.
I golf am still trying to get out at least 3 times a week, but a lot depends on the other girls I golf with. But to date I have about 13 games in and one tournament so I think I am doing pretty well.
I curl in the winter twice a week, and love to cross stitch every chance I get, used to knit and crochet but that has been set aside to make more time for the children and the computer.
My life is very full and I am so very blessed. September 16 th |
