I'm easy to please with what movies I see - but do enjoy a romance and good thrillers. Recently saw "Mamma Mia" and loved it!!

"Easy listening" music such as - The Furys, Foster and Allen, Enya, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart and many others. Don't mind some Country and Western. LOVE Andre Rieu and his orchestra.

Historical novels and romance.
Favorite authors - Anna Jacobs, Catherine Cookson,
Audrey Howard, Rosamunde Pilcher,Josephine Cox,Charlotte Bingham,La Vyrle Spencer etc.
Also enjoy "Real life" stories.

Cool colours - aqua, light blues, mauve, lemon and pinky tones.

Love Chinese meals, roasts, and anything anyone else cooks for me!
Cheesecakes, apple pie and cream but we don't indulge in sweets... I can't afford to!
Especially love eating out!!

Since our 21yr old Grandson Mal shifted into his own home, life has been a lot more relaxed. We miss him of course, but he and his girlfriend Sophie drop in quite often to visit. They are having the whole family for Christmas this year which will be lovely...give them a chance to show off their home! A week before Christmas, my husband Eric will have his 70th Birthday at home with all our life-long friends. Busy days ahead getting organised for 2 big events. Little Archie (now 1yr old) will be coming over with his parents from Victoria to stay for 2 weeks as well.Can't wait for my cuddles and sloppy kisses.... Our sons 3 children will also be over from Queensland. It will be the first time in many years that all our Grandchildren will be under the same roof....Can't wait for Christmas!!

I've been happily married to my husband for 48 years. We adopted our 3 children as tiny babies and have 5 beautiful grandchildren. We have a 21 yr old Grandson who we brought up and who has now shifted out...we are enjoying playing at "Darby & Joan" at long last!! I was a Tupperware Dealer for nearly 20yrs, thoroughly enjoyed doing my parties and meeting lots of lovely ladies. I now do volunteer work with the Silver Chain. We have always owned dogs and they are a big part of our lives.

We have many good friends and they are most important to us. Lots of Barbecues, Happy hours, eating out etc. My family is precious - (2 daughters Liana and Jannine and 1 son Stephen) plus the Grandchildren 4 boys and 1 girl - they are such a joy! I love my computer (when I have time to play with it). We are animal lovers and have 2 large dogs who are part of the family. We love living close to the beach (so do the dogs). Also enjoy getting away in our caravan when possible. Something else I get pleasure from is organising School reunions and have been doing it for sometime now.

Selfishness!
Don't like rude, loud or self centred people.
Loud music - especially when eating out and trying to chat to friends.
Cruelty to animals.
Politics - leave that to my husband!

The obvious - playing with the computer.
Taking photos with my digital camera - I am chief photographer at our "DO's". Have quite a collection of photo albums.
Love to read a good book in bed.
Knit occasionally - especially for the babies - Grandchildren.
Spend a lot of time with the G/kids.
