John and I visited the beautiful Belleek Factory. Although they had many beautiful items, I couldn't find anything that would fit in our home. It was very interesting to see how an item went from start to a finished product.

Have a great week!

Love and Hugs,

Ger

John and I walked the streets of Donegal or Donegal Town. Donegal meaning "fort of the foreigners", is a town in County Donegal in Ulster, Ireland. From the 1470's until the very early 17th century, Donegal was the 'capital' of Tyrconnell, a Gaelic kingdom controlled by the O'Donnell dynasty of the Northern Uí Néill. Donegal sits at the mouth of the River Eske and Donegal Bay, which is overshadowed by the Blue Stack Mountains ('the Croaghs'). The center of the town, known as The Diamond, is a hub for music, poetic and cultural gatherings in the area.

Have a great weekend!

Love and hugs,

Ger

John and I had some free time and decided to get up and go for a stroll in Glasgow. The city was very interesting and we enjoyed our morning walk.

Hugs and love,

Ger

I had the pleasure of stopping at a quaint little restaurant and pottery shop overlooking Loch Carron in the Highlands of Scotland. We enjoyed tea and homemade shortbread at the restaurant and I met the pottery maker when we walked into her shop. I bought a small vase from her shop. It is always hard to figure out what I can manage to put in my luggage without it breaking. I was very fortunate that my vase survived the trip.

Love and hugs,

Ger
